It’s crucial that the consequences for this situation target the adults who caused the problems, not the players who are now unfairly bearing the brunt of the fallout.

This clears the way for Madison to the championship and the money spent by Hayfield parents goes down the drain because FCPS’ new collusion with the VHSL. The parents ought to sue FCPS now.

This! These Hayfield football players that were impacted by this should sue as well as the FCPS employees that were transferred.

Truly clueless and laughable!
Please record the lawyers reaction when presented with this, it will go viral.

I would bet money that FCPS settles this with these people.

Absolutely no way at all.
I wish I could bet you!

Where’d you get your JD from?

George Mason. 2007.
And I no one I know would take this case.

Even if you were telling the truth it’s so pathetic that you picked a mediocre law school and followed that with a borderline incoherent sentence.

You are a clown. George Mason's law school is ranked 28th out of 198 in the nation. It's the 11th ranked public law school. It is not mediocre. Run along, poindexter. Serious people are trying to have a discussion.

George Mason is a good law school and it fit my budget and needs
I'm doing fine, thank you.

Please take your Adderall and lets get back on point please.
The parents have no grounds for damages and they may be liable themselves.

Feel bad for the kids being jerked around, players, cheerleaders, band etc. Adults truly failed them. Whether it was FCPS, not doing enough diligence and investigating to obtain information or even going way back to DO not advising these kids to just stay put and finish out their HS journeys.

Because employees are afraid to be whistleblowers in FCPS and for good reason- they are shut down, pushed out, called racist (even by superintendents) and fired. When it was so obvious, most employees were all assuming at SOME point FCPS would do the right thing. And then Reid even said she would and didn’t. At that point, took the risk but likely knows out of job anyway.

When she dicked around for a week sending vague emails and let the Edison game play, a frustrated coach leaked the texts to the FT.

I mean her own email trail shows she saw the texts before sending any of her emails. Why would she put out an email about “misinformation” being spread while she was sitting on those texts if she planned to pull the team? Makes no sense.

She has lost all credibility and trust. She is not fit to lead FCPS if she can’t even be trusted to handle a football scandal.

If the SB and Reid had done the right thing and actually done a thorough investigation when this came to light MONTHS AGO, it could have been handled with so much less fall out. Instead, Reid did her usual head in the sand MO, and turned it into a huge mess. I can’t wait to see how much FCPS money is spent on lawyers instead of our kids and teachers. Again.

FCPS looks foolish yet again, at the taxpayer expense. How much did they pay outside counsel to represent “us” in the aftermath of the Governor’s directive to return to in-class participation and mask mandates? Totally silly, silly stuff.

Originally, Mateo Dunne was the most vocal in asking the board to vote for an external investigation. Two members voted with him: Ricardy Anderson and Ryan McElveen. Everyone else supported Reid.

More recently, the School Board chair wanted everyone to sign a letter in “strong support” of Reid, and the ones who would not sign it were:
Ricardy Anderson (Mason)
Melanie Meren (Hunter Mill)
Ilyrong Moon (at large)
Ryan McElveen (at large)
Mateo Dunne (Mt. Vernon)

PLEASE WRITE LETTERS. In addition, publish your letter on Facebook or Next Door, or any other community board you can find because a lot of people don’t know what is going on.

The level of desperation in this post. 🥴

Another Hayfraud parent who just wants this to go away.

We are not zoned for Hayfield. Loud and wrong, again.

You don’t see how comically ironic your response is.

I don’t, because your sense of humor is dry AF.

Yet again…every time you post you prove me right. The lack of self-awareness you demonstrate is comical. God you are such a cuck.

Using “God” and “Cuck” in the same sentence tells me all I need to know about you.

Be well.

It makes me a better person than any hayfraud parent.

Principal wanted Overton
If he was available a HC spot would be available
AD knew that if he came kids would follow
AD and principal turned blinds eye to what became a whole influx of transfers
Who tells the kids which loopholes to possibly use coach or AD
I hvnt seen or heard that Overton actually told or influenced anyone
He’s guilty of being a good coach yes
But want to know where his level of involvement is

No good coach would think this. Good coaches beat good teams. Overton did not do this once this season. Good coaches teach their players things like good sportsmanship etc. Overton has never once done this. Good coaches don't cheat. Overton has made a career out of cheating.

The above comment has to have been written by Coach O.

Evident you’re a Coach O hater. NOT one coach around this very area has the guts or gumption to even schedule a DeMatha, but he did with a clearly undersized team.

He scheduled a Private school this year, NO other coach in this area would do that

He scheduled powerhouse Varina, no FCPS school would do that, so pls spare me

He only has 2 decent teams, he crushed somewhat decent WSHS and lost to RB. So as far as the ntll district is concerned, it’s very weak and that’s why for years Hayfield was playing on borrowed time because beating up on teams in that district really would nvr prepare you for good playoff type teams

Maybe because this is nova public HS football, not Texas, and playing teams from Hyattsville and Henrico isn’t what it should be about?

Grown-ass men trying to relive their glory days through a bunch of HS kids is so sad to start with; trying to say it’s for them and not y’all is pathetic.

Correction…Overton never had any glory days.

He won a state championship as a player himself at Hyllton. His brother the DC won 2 at Hylton, atleast according to VHSL record books

No one who has ever truly succeeded at something would think that winning a public school state championship constitutes “glory days.”

Thanks for confirming I am correct.

a time in the past regarded as being better than the present.
Ok idiot, but since you seem the type to probably have never won anything, I’d wonder if your hard pressed to understand

This was your comeback? Oh god you’re pathetic.

But I’ve won plenty. But I don’t measure myself on my athletics successes back in high school. Only pathetic people do that. Every day of adulthood I’ve won because I’ve got a great job that more than supports my wife and kids and I have a family that looks up to me because, among other things, I taught my kids the difference between right and wrong. Thats something no Hayfraud parent can say.

Well great for you and yours and athletics has taken me and my families far 2 kids to D1 schools one just finished the other played football have a great job and both my kids are doing way better than me, so for a loser (according to your standards) I can sit back and be proud that for some athletics will be there way out for others the use of whatever they may learn in college is theirs, but clap clap for you
