The players dedicated countless hours to improving their skills and representing their team, only to have their opportunity for success taken away due to decisions beyond their control. These young athletes simply followed the instructions given by the adults in charge, trusting in their leadership. It’s crucial that the consequences for this situation target the adults who caused the problems, not the players who are now unfairly bearing the brunt of the fallout.

This clears the way for Madison to the championship and the money spent by Hayfield parents goes down the drain because FCPS’ new collusion with the VHSL. The parents ought to sue FCPS now.

This! These Hayfield football players that were impacted by this should sue as well as the FCPS employees that were transferred.

Truly clueless and laughable!
Please record the lawyers reaction when presented with this, it will go viral.

I would bet money that FCPS settles this with these people.

Originally, Mateo Dunne was the most vocal in asking the board to vote for an external investigation. Two members voted with him: Ricardy Anderson and Ryan McElveen. Everyone else supported Reid.

More recently, the School Board chair wanted everyone to sign a letter in “strong support” of Reid, and the ones who would not sign it were:
Ricardy Anderson (Mason)
Melanie Meren (Hunter Mill)
Ilyrong Moon (at large)
Ryan McElveen (at large)
Mateo Dunne (Mt. Vernon)

PLEASE WRITE LETTERS. In addition, publish your letter on Facebook or Next Door, or any other community board you can find because a lot of people don’t know what is going on.

The level of desperation in this post. 🥴

Another Hayfraud parent who just wants this to go away.

George Mason. 2007.
And I no one I know would take this case.

Even if you were telling the truth it’s so pathetic that you picked a mediocre law school and followed that with a borderline incoherent sentence.

Anonymous wrote:The story I heard from an assistant coach whose head coach was at the meeting was that Reid promised to pull Hayfield once she was shown the texts. The coaches agreed to play with the expectation Hayfield would be removed by FCPS.
When she dicked around for a week sending vague emails and let the Edison game play, a frustrated coach leaked the texts to the FT.

I mean her own email trail shows she saw the texts before sending any of her emails. Why would she put out an email about “misinformation” being spread while she was sitting on those texts if she planned to pull the team? Makes no sense.

She has lost all credibility and trust. She is not fit to lead FCPS if she can’t even be trusted to handle a football scandal.

If the SB and Reid had done the right thing and actually done a thorough investigation when this came to light MONTHS AGO, it could have been handled with so much less fall out. Instead, Reid did her usual head in the sand MO, and turned it into a huge mess. I can’t wait to see how much FCPS money is spent on lawyers instead of our kids and teachers. Again.

Her Instagram and the people tagged in her posts seem to be just some random people with no actual connection to Hayfield but are all in for the team?? Very very shady.

The "team mom" got hired as a teacher for this school year and her son played for Freedom. No idea if "team mom" worked as a teacher anywhere else before.

The coaches brother, who is an assistant coach, also got hired as a teacher aide. No idea who else associated with the team was
Mysteriously hired as a full time Hayfield employee.

In slight fairness, IAs are in short supply so most schools would take anyone breathing who doesn’t have a criminal record to fill that role.

Overton getting a very visible and critical role like S&S Specialist is a far bigger issue.

She isn't just an IA, she is a Learning Disabilities Teacher according to the Hayfield website.

Not PP here. There are two types of Hayfield players:pre-Overton and post-Overton. Pre-Overton has a legit beef, and rumors of bullying. Post-Overton participated in the fraud, so nothing for them.

Using “God” and “Cuck” in the same sentence tells me all I need to know about you.

Be well.

If these texts are the nail in the coffin, why did it take this long for them to come out? Why didn't this person come forward in the summer and submit them and this whole thing could've been figured out months ago?

Feel bad for the kids being jerked around, players, cheerleaders, band etc. Adults truly failed them. Whether it was FCPS, not doing enough diligence and investigating to obtain information or even going way back to DO not advising these kids to just stay put and finish out their HS journeys.
