Absolutely vile anti-Israel protesters. They look and sound deranged. Zero patience with these imbeciles.

Is it really deranged to care about people losing their homes and children starving to death? Is it really wrong to look at the power systems that exist and wonder why the US refuses to step in? Watch some press conferences with Kirby. Watch all US politicians avoid the Israel question or pledge fealty to AIPAC. Open your eyes and see what is happening, or be wary that Americans are finally opening their eyes to the other side and ignoring Israeli propaganda.

Just curious… did you have anything to say about our invasion of Iraq? Or was that fair game?

I know many. I've been a salient observer of a few different sermons at synagogues. After watching for years, it's become clear to me what their game is. They are an invading party. The rhetoric they promulgate is self-serving. The double speak and underhanded techniques are an abomination. Watch closer and watch over a long period of time. You will see.

If you can’t see the delusion here, there is no hope. Lemme add on… SICK and pathetic.

There is really no use wasting any time with you folks. You are hell bent on creating your own narratives. Facts do matter, but not to you apparently.

Now, that I have your attention. Please, state your facts. I'll counter and state mine. Stop with the name-calling.

On this matter, I stand with the Dixie Chicks. US never should have invaded Iraq. The question is why and for whom did we really invade?

Fascinating that it was … <checking notes> … yep, Israel once again instigating the U.S. into conflict with Iraq on the basis of falsified Israeli “intelligence”. This shit would be funny if it wasn’t so embarrassing. Israel really takes evil doing to new heights every time you dig on on their conduct.

Anyone who stands up and protests against Israel is not vile but heroic. Does zero patience means you will shoot them just like the cowardly IDF shot and killed an American in the West Bank? She was not a two passport citizen. You know you have lost the arguments when you have to shoot protesters because you are so scared of the truth.

I fail to see how standing outside a kosher restaurant and screaming at 18-year-old freshman at a college welcome event constitutes heroism as it relates to Gaza. Once again, these were not students actively engaged in anything other than being students who happen to be Jewish. If you don’t want people to conflate protesting Israel with antisemitism, then you also have to be able to differentiate between the two things.

Agreed. And as much as I believe Israel is disproportionately responsible for this ongoing conflict by a massive, almost incalculable margin, I strongly disagree with any protest efforts that reflect what you’ve described.

I agreed. But I question the validity of the statement that a protester screamed at a college freshman with no provocation.

I was on the Columbia campus in May during reunion weekend. The pro Palestinians protesters were quiet and respectful. However, there were non student counter protest agitators outside who were stirring things up.

Facts:

Jews and Palestinians are genetic cousins with genetic markers that tie them both to the land.

Jewish peoples have been persecuted for hundred/thousand of years.

Israel was created by Zionists displacing people from their homes and a universal guilt of the world watching unspeakable horrors perpetrated by Germans.

People displaced from their homes were confused, disoriented, angry and traumatized.

These people found that the world only paid attention when they committed acts of terrorism.

Israel continued to humiliate them and they got more angry.

Lots of death. Both sides suffered by more Palestinians killed than Jews in any conflicts.

2006 Hamas elected. No elections since
2006 and lots of evidence that Israel supported Hamas over PLO.

10/7. Horrible - Hamas militants at fault.

10/8 onwards. Palestinians have suffered 40x over the harm of 10/7. Broken people are more broken.

What in these facts tell you that either side deserve unconditional Us military support?

Yes. I rather agree with your facts. I do not think either side deserves any US military support.

Spot on. Israel is a despicable “country” propped up by American dollars (diverted from uses that would actually benefit Americans rather than Israeli Jews) and intent on supporting oppression and illegal settlements.

It’s just a matter of time until we pull the plug on this monstrosity. The Israelis are not our friends and they see America simply as a piggy bank to be easily manipulated for their own agenda.

Vote blue. It is time to end Israel.

Can we try reform first? Can we remove the incentives that enable Israel to bully and torment its neighbors, and try the “everyone plays by the same rules” game quickly to see if that might work?

I mean, I know you’re a Zionist trying to panic people into voting against reason, but maybe don’t try to hard to take positions that nobody else has taken?

In 2003, there were encampments against the Iraq war. Social media didn’t exist then so nobody really knew major protests were going on as the cable media barely touched on it. Major protests blocked the RNC convention traffic in NYC in 2004. Protests outside the White House happened daily.

Those same young anti war protestors would vote for Sen Barack Obama in 2007/2008. They were right about the war being based on lies, right about it only creating more terror (ISIS), right about Abu ghraib prison scandal going to cause more attacks and terrorism. Right about Iran getting more militant to protect their own border and country from invasion

The young kids were right then and they’re right now

This, there were definitely protests and no social media to amplify them. Also no social media to spread the truth narrative - that what the US was doing was wrong. The reason so many people support Palestine today is cause we are seeing with our own eyes what the main stream media doesn't show - just how horrible the Israeli attack on Gaza has been. And guess what else - no blacklists of people protesting the Iraq and no "congressional inquiries" into the protests - funny how that only happens when you protest one particular country.

DP. I am kinda of amazed as to how often this line comes up. Many of the same people who are against the brutality of the Israeli actions in Gaza were also against the Iraq war. There were massive protests. It was wrong and the folks who were out protesting were looked down upon as being unpatriotic. But we were right.

As a side note about that war, a great documentary to watch is Once Upon a Time in Iraq from the BBC. There's one interview with a young woman who lost her eye as a child during the war and although the interview is done many years later, she still wishes harm to the US.

Vote blue? Are you serious? Biden is clearly cuckheld by Israel. Kamala is too by her latest speech. There's no way to vote this away. One much leave the country.

I guess those protestors in the US and elsewhere were also taunting middle easterners who had literally nothing to do with the war . They vandalized their stores and blocked middle eastern students from college campuses. They called for an annihilation of Iraqis too?
