Dana Bash protested at Politics and Prose. Video: https://dcist.com/story/19/04/29/white-nationalists-interrupt-book-talk-at-politics-and-prose/
That's not the correct link ^^ https://nypost.com/2024/09/06/media/cnns-dana-bash-rips-anti-israel-protesters-at-her-book-event/
Absolutely vile anti-Israel protesters. They look and sound deranged. Zero patience with these imbeciles.
Is it really deranged to care about people losing their homes and children starving to death? Is it really wrong to look at the power systems that exist and wonder why the US refuses to step in? Watch some press conferences with Kirby. Watch all US politicians avoid the Israel question or pledge fealty to AIPAC. Open your eyes and see what is happening, or be wary that Americans are finally opening their eyes to the other side and ignoring Israeli propaganda.
Just curious… did you have anything to say about our invasion of Iraq? Or was that fair game?
DP. I am kinda of amazed as to how often this line comes up. Many of the same people who are against the brutality of the Israeli actions in Gaza were also against the Iraq war. There were massive protests. It was wrong and the folks who were out protesting were looked down upon as being unpatriotic. But we were right. As a side note about that war, a great documentary to watch is Once Upon a Time in Iraq from the BBC. There's one interview with a young woman who lost her eye as a child during the war and although the interview is done many years later, she still wishes harm to the US.
