Dana Bash protested at Politics and Prose. Video: https://dcist.com/story/19/04/29/white-nationalists-interrupt-book-talk-at-politics-and-prose/
That's not the correct link ^^ https://nypost.com/2024/09/06/media/cnns-dana-bash-rips-anti-israel-protesters-at-her-book-event/
Absolutely vile anti-Israel protesters. They look and sound deranged. Zero patience with these imbeciles.
Anyone who stands up and protests against Israel is not vile but heroic. Does zero patience means you will shoot them just like the cowardly IDF shot and killed an American in the West Bank? She was not a two passport citizen. You know you have lost the arguments when you have to shoot protesters because you are so scared of the truth.
I fail to see how standing outside a kosher restaurant and screaming at 18-year-old freshman at a college welcome event constitutes heroism as it relates to Gaza. Once again, these were not students actively engaged in anything other than being students who happen to be Jewish. If you don’t want people to conflate protesting Israel with antisemitism, then you also have to be able to differentiate between the two things.
Agreed. And as much as I believe Israel is disproportionately responsible for this ongoing conflict by a massive, almost incalculable margin, I strongly disagree with any protest efforts that reflect what you’ve described.
I agreed. But I question the validity of the statement that a protester screamed at a college freshman with no provocation. I was on the Columbia campus in May during reunion weekend. The pro Palestinians protesters were quiet and respectful. However, there were non student counter protest agitators outside who were stirring things up.
