https://english.elpais.com/international/2024-05-14/new-fighting-against-hamas-in-northern-gaza-lays-bare-holes-in-israels-military-strategy.html Israel is losing. |
Do you remember last summer when the ethnic Armenians in Azerbaijan left/were forced to leave Nagorno-Karabakh? The international community didn't say anything at all about it. Israel remembers and they want to do that too. |
Those are not minor figures and your attempt to minimize who they are is not good. |
What do you find funny about it? This is literally Mao’s China, where anyone who expressed dissent to the ruling party ideology was required to bend the knee and repent in writing or they were expelled from school and place of employment. It’s the quintessential mark of a totalitarian regime. |
I'm not minimizing them. I'm comparing them to major political figures in the US. Trump wasn't a minor figure. Neither were Stephen Miller or Rudy Guiliani to name a few prominent people in his inner circle who went out and said/did awful things in the name of our government. |
Ethnic cleansing made possible by massive purchases of Israeli weaponry by the corrupt government of Azerbaijan. |
Yep it will be used against any student who signs it. It is a confession to the pro Israeli red book mob. I wonder who and what they will go after next. |
And how about holding Hamas complicit for bombing both the Kerem Shalom crossing - which killed four Israeli soldiers manning the main humanitarian corridor into Gaza - and for launching mortars into the area around the US constructed pier that is supposed to provide sea access for aid? Maybe some condemnation for the food trucks Hamas has hijacked? Not a word, right? |
It seems pro- Israel bots are quite active here trying to deflect attention from ethnic cleansing. |
Please. Hamas has already been accused of crimes and is literally labelled a terrorist organization. Meanwhile Israel has been committing - if not a genocide - certainly atrocities in Gaza. And they are not labelled a terrorist organization but a country with a legit government that can be criticized. |
As far as protests go, if young students won't stand up for human rights, who would? Corrupt politicians or paid lobbyists? |
For once let's make it a sticky that standing up for Palestinians doesn't mean being pro-Hamas or antisemitic and standing up for Jews doesn't mean being pro-Israel or pro-genocide. No need to derail thread by accusing people of supporting they don't support at all. |
Oh, my gosh. I'm glad you aren't being asked to fight in a war as our ancestors did to give you the freedom to write such drivel. The education of our youth involving too much coddling, "everyone can win," , and few consequences is revealed in your post. Get a grip! |
You all are wasting your breath responding to posts--the purpose of this thread (and any other discussion of the war on the internet), to the people who spend all day on it, its to record the public, mob trials against Israel, in the attempt to convince Americans to facilitate Israel's fall. They post "look at what Israel did today guys!" posts, no discussion to be had. Every post is a lecture or demand. Best to just let them post and let them talk to each other. Any response from others just gives them confidence they have an audience that may just be inflicted to see Israel for the evil it truly is (in their mind). |
