I get that he did the finamcial crimes. Do you think he killed hisvwife and son? I just can't imagine his other son sitting in court through all this testimony and watching his dad cry.

Do you think it was just some random killer who happened to kill them in the 10-15 minutes between when that video with his voice was recorded at the kennels and him leaving the house to visit his moms on the day he was confronted by his firm about missing money and he just conveniently forgot he wasn't napping like he said?

What would be his reason for killing them?

Horrible, crazy people do terrible things all the time. I mean this man betrayed and stole from people who loved, trusted and knew him for decades. He arranged a pretend hit on himself AFTER this. I mean I'm not sure there's a limit to this guy.

anyone keeping up with the trial? I have to admit, I have watched the key testimony snippets each day. (Am also from SC). They have a LOT of circumstantial evidence, as well as a Snapchat video shot by the son shortly before the death which proved that A. Murdaugh was at the scene of the murders prior to their occurrence ---when he had lied and told police that he had not been at the dog kennels but at the house. But aside from the video proving that he is a liar, they don't have direct evidence tying him to the murder. I think he did it, but not sure that it gets to reasonable doubt. It is very OJ-esque. Especially when the dead wife's sister testified that she slowly began to find it "odd" that AM did not seem concerned for his own safety, nor did he seem concerned with finding the killers.

Wasn’t it a real hit but the idiot missed?

Given the Alec is a pathological liar and Cousin Eddie is a nutjob, none of us will ever know.

I’m thinking he’ll get off, akin to Casey Anthony. They’ll reveal some “Bombshell” about the cowboy gang being involved and they pulled the trigger because he owed them money He’s already going to prison for his financial crimes. This would just get him in a Martha Stewart type facility away from non white color criminals.

Motive doesn’t need to be proven. I think possibly there are holes but I think they’re covering reasonable doubt.

Alex Murdaugh is going to testify. 😳

Yes right now!

I think it was a mistake for him to testify, so guilty
“Mags, Paul-Paul, trying to endear the jury using these nicknames. Admits to lying about being at the kennel as heard on Paul’s audio due to his addictions and paranoia
Anonymous
Already admitted he lied repeatedly and that he was there at the kennels at 8:44 pm.

I want to know where is all this money he stole. It was in the millions. It couldn't have all been drugs.

Debt. I doubt his firm was funding the lifestyle his family was living.
