S. Carolina double murder

Sounds like they "needed killing."

The family housekeeper “tripped” down the stairs of their house and died. A gay kid allegedly involved with the older brother was “hit” by a car and left in the middle of the road even though injuries didn’t support that. Very suspicious.

Not that it matters but that gay kid was absolutely stunning. He would have made it out of that hick town and been something.

Feels like we need the lady from Murder She Wrote to solve these cases. A lot of dead folks in a small county in SC.

The Dad's a former prosecutor and current corporate lawyer. He's not stupid enough to kill his wife and son with easily identifiable weapons just behind one of his three homes.

The son who died was getting away with murder literally - the girlfriend's family who died in the speedboat crash had filed two injunctions to move the case forward and the slippery kid repped by his father and all his father's friends had just received another win.

The dead girl's loved ones knew they might see some 'blood money' but no justice and because of the way the Murdaugh family was intrinsic to the local community - that kid would grow up to be the local prosecutor, judge, and richest man in the area in due time.

So someone decided to take care of the problem and the mom got in the way.

“(Mallory Beach) with knowledge of the risk, voluntarily exposed herself to and assumed the risk of injury,” Parker’s attorneys argued...

Last year, FITSNews obtained documents showing that two of the responding deputies on the night of the crash had ties to the Murdaugh family’s law firm. Adding to the speculation, the only Beaufort county sheriff’s deputy who identified Paul as the driver of the boat that crashed – Steven Domino – was later fired from his job for drug use.

Ahh, didn't we discuss the wonderful Southern manners, charm, way of life in another recent thread?

Hey posters hating on the south… you do know that’s part of America right? Our fellow country men and women live there , so maybe ease up on the vitriol, it’s just so antithetical to what we should stand for.

NP. I'm from SC and know a ton of people like this family. This kid thought he was untouchable. I'm not saying he deserved to be killed, but I am saying that justice wasn't coming his way through any legal means.

There are plenty of families like that in the Northern states too.

1. She was there
2. She raised that kid, not sure she’s blameless

I wondered about this too, especially since the family's insurance carrier was trying to deny coverage relating to the wrongful death suit filed with respect to the boat crash.

There are quotes from the community that the Dad is worse - but he’s like genteel version of the son who died. The son who was on trial for murder was known to get into alcoholic blackouts at the age of 16 and the living son is the one who hit-and-ran the gay boy. So no it’s not about him killing one child to protect the family reputation.

They’re all like that.
