Hopefully we won't be hearing about any Innocence Projects working with Alex anytime soon.

What is it with the crazy in the deep south? The stories. Is there something in the air or the drinking water?

I know. Astonishing that New England doesn't.

The interviews with the other boat passengers were especially chilling. Although I was very disappointed that they all had multiple chances to get off or not get on the boat - they made poor choices repeatedly. I want to show my teen just to be like “this is exactly when you would NOT go and call a parent!!”

My husband and I were at odds here. He said that Mallory's boyfriend (I forget his name) should've slugged "Timmy" and told him to eff off. Then they all call a cab and let him drive himself drunk.

However, I said they are kids, dumb, don't make good decisions. Part of being young is making mistakes. However this is just extreme and deadly lessons.

You know they all went along with Paul's shenanigans because they were rich, parents gave them alcohol, etc.

If he wasn't rich, NONE of those kids (including the girlfriend) would've given him the time of day. He was such a gross dork.

I don't know that part of SC well, but many areas have 0 cab or uber service. So you'd be really SOL or calling a parent. Based on the group, probably all of them drove drunk, all the time.

Did anything ever happen regarding exhuming the bodies of Stephen Smith and Gloria Satterfield?

“The money was garnered from the sale of some of Murdaugh's properties and farm equipment as well as from a 401 (k) plan and totaled just under $1.8 million, per the Post and Courier.”

This is interesting, I didn’t realize 401k funds could be liquidated for damages like this.

they can be liquidated for anything--you just pay taxes and penalties.
