I didn’t grow up near reservations. I grew up outside Boston. My Mom and Dad raised us to respect our elders and people in general. My parents would have killed us if we behaved like those boys. Our priests and CCD teachers would have been mortified. Parents and community bear responsibility here, as does power of mob mentality.
