Their time has lasted 40+ years - keep coping, loser. |
Stone Ridge is stacked, their 25's are probably the best in the area. Their 26's are strong, they have 3 killer 27's and each one of those classes has depth. |
The 28's are iffy. |
Not sure about the 3 "killer" 27's either. Maybe one. |
Thanks random hater on the internet - the accolades they are stacking up would speak to their abilities more than your opinion. |
Really? SR has the deepest roster in the DMV. Incredible pipeline waiting on deck. |
Oh and they lost their whole midfield from last year when they lost to Saints and Visi in the regular season. But they are stacked..smh |
What an a-hole thing to say. You definitely must’ve been an active poster on the 2028 thread. |
They didn't lose to the saints and they won the ISL easily - so smh that |
Why are SR & GC not playing each other this season? |
Supposedly SR was scared. |
All of their 25, 26 and 27 starters are middies on club teams, and all played attack and defense last year. |
Last year GC played SR and STAB at the SSSAS spring fling. Proy tbablhe biggest win day in GC history. All 3 teams were ranked nationally. Will KJ do a repeat this year? |
Agree. SSSAS appears to have depth, but it doesn’t seem to be used. It’s an interesting coaching style that will not win games this year. Teams like SR win because they sub. When someone is off, they pull them for 5 minutes to mentally adjust/decompress. It’s how successful D1 teams play too. SSSAS will be outplayed if they don’t use their bench this year. Good luck to them.

They are playing largely the same starting line for the third year. Lost a couple of good players but have a couple returning from injuries. It nets out the same. They either don’t have new talent or they are not using the “depth” that they have. Somewhat similar situation at Potomac relying on handful of starters to play almost full game with not much to back it up. Stone Ridge has talent at every grade level. They identify it, develop it and use it. Same but even moreso at OLGC. |
Hey dad coach. Have you watched the games in the past decade? SR and Potomac sub very little and both DO NOT use their 2nd/3rd line bench in close games. They play their TOP performing players like all the other TOP schools. This isn’t rec! These teams are playing to win and a smart coach will not sub out their top D1 committed starters unless they need to rest, have an injury or the score is way UP. The coaching style at SSSAS has been winning games for 40+ years and most of those players have played with or for that head coach since grade school! They know the style and will win plenty of games. Clearly a clueless post with a kid that will be sitting on the bench and not starting in any games. |
