I just read the NYT story about the family of the 6th grader killed in the Springfield bus accident. These poor people are in hell. They lost their son and they are facing death threats from the anti-immigrant, hateful, racist MAGAs. These people have no low beyond which they will go. What the Dems do or don't do is irrelevant at this point.

Considering the fact that neither of our two major parties are viewed upon favorably by a majority of Americans and considering the Trump/Biden mess we've had to deal with since 2017, the door is as wide open as it has been in a long time for a viable 3rd party to make serious noise by 2028.
