I am tired of people suggesting that MAGA's positions and actions are the fault of Dems, that Dems have failed in some way to reach them.

Bullshit.

The MAGAs are where they are because they like what Trump is selling.  They like hatred.  They love to revel in it.  They enjoy division.  They already hated Dems and "libs".  They LIKE the LIES.  It is what they want to hear, because it reinforces their hatred and reinforces the us vs. them mentality.

They like feeling like they’re cosseted in the bosom of a strong man who will protect them as they bully others. That’s not a caricature, that’s who your average Trumper is. [/quote]
