Agree, he should buy a house for her free and clear, and she should be more reasonable about monthly support. |

The wife’s problem is she wants to continue maintaining the exact same lifestyle outside of the marriage like she did in the marriage. That is unreasonable. She shouldn’t have to live like a pauper but her lifestyle has to change. |
Yes, this seems right. Downpayment plus 12 measly mortgage payments is still not much more than the original housing sum. But her asking $220 month support is nuts. Laura Wasser likes quick no-drama settlements, especially when kids are involved. Will be interesting to see how this plays out. |
Break your prenup (precedent) and go buy her a $10M pad... so the woman who's never earned money can remortgage it and blow the money. And then cry poor again and sue her ex again. ![]() |
???? It's at least a million dollars, on top of the million dollars the pre-nup awards her. What "original" housing sum are you referring to? |
As far as I'm concerned, he should give her about 1/4 of his money and be done with it. Quit pretending this very wealthy actor is just a successful physician in an UMC neighborhood. |
He was exec producer on Yellowstone (and most of his other projects), so, yes, I think he is worth hundreds of millions. He made over $1 million per episode just for starring in it. |

He started out making $500K ep, it was bumped to over $1M an ep. Do you know what taxes are, do you know what 3 teens and a wife costs, all the help, and how much it costs to maintain a nine figure real estate portfolio? He's certainly rich but acting like he can just casually write her an eight digit check is comical. And that's before getting into her being entitled to such a sum, which she's not, per the pre-nup she signed at age 30. |
He doesn't have to. She signed the prenup. And he was clever enough not to buy any expensive properties while they were together. |
PP here. I get it. I'm just saying what I think he should do if he were a decent person and not a complete a---ole. |
+1 Net worth doesn’t mean cash in the bank. $10 million a season for Yellowstone isn’t $10 million in KC’a pocket. He has a publicist, agent, at least one assistant, etc. He isn’t Scrooge McDuck swimming in a pool of gold coins. |
Why all the trouble to make a pre nup if it’s not even going to be followed?? |
Why all the trouble if you're not worth a pile of money? |
