The GOP is making our military weak and dysfunctional. We've never had this kind of hold-up before, it's unprecedented. It needs to end. Republicans, get your boy under control.

This. Weak, dysfunctional and lacking leadership. Shame on the GOP.

Republicans don’t respect our brave service women.
Republicans think our women in uniform are murderous sluts.
They don’t respect them.

Remember, if you need to go to your parent's funeral, you must use your own leave. But, want an abortion? 3 weeks additional leave and it's paid for.

This is the dumbest excuse. He understands nothing…and wants to micromanage the military? Watching this idiot withhold promotions from people 100 times smarter and harder working than him is maddening.

Well he only see the color of their skin.

Can republicans take him off the
Committee?

He isn’t obstructing the committee hearings or process. From a few transcripts I read, he participates in the nomination hearings and doesn’t object to any of the officers and doesn’t ask them about the abortion policy. He only talks about keeping the military pork coming to Alabama.

But then he objects to bringing the nominations to the Senate floor for confirmation. He’s just a partisan idiot who thinks his job is to make everything a divisive partisan issue for fundraising and pandering. The other Republicans in the Senate obviously are just fine with that. Most of them also spend their time turning traditionally nonpartisan functions into divisive fundraising opportunities.

So he’s basically a troll sent from Alabama to gum up the government machine while bilking it for as much money as possible. Then he’ll go back and campaign on “the babies!” And they’ll vote for him because he’s a white guy with an R by his name.

Well, to be fair, he is funded by the same Oligarchs funding the rest of the undermining of the US, so its all the same.

Why would the Republicans do that? All republicans support him. Trump, Tuberville, etc are not an abnormality with in the Republican Party. They are the Republican Party.

Schumer could bring votes to the floor. Just not all at once.

He’s right; we support him.

What is "special" about being able to take your own sick leave for a medical procedure you're forced to go out of state for because your work stationed you in a state that has banned it?

Too bad. Schumer can do some work for once instead of whining in front of a camera.

You guys are lying again. Water is wet.

Please explain why Schumer is not letting them vote for the individuals. When this started, it was just a handful.

Because there are hundreds of them and that would mean they could do very little beyond voting on each individual one by one. Why are the Republicans so willing to destroy this country?

+1

It only takes one person to break a process and Tuberville is happy to be that one person.

False. Stop lying. Going through cloture 100 or 200 or 300 times is not feasible. There is no objection to any individual officer. It’s a partisan stunt to shut down what has always been a nonpartisan function of the Senate.

And because forced birthers won’t let base hospitals and clinics perform them. If men could get pregnant, you could get an abortion at the shoppette.
