If this is true, I can't blame her. The guy has obviously been relapsing. He went from moderately handsome clean cut (late 20s?) man in their wedding photos to a strung out junkie who has aged 25 years in 8 years and covered his body with super sketchy tattoos. You can't give money to someone like that.

And this is exactly why you don't marry outside your caste

+1. Shame on her parents (and church) for letting someone like him get close to her.

Now we are blaming the victims parents and church?!? Wow, DCUM at its finest. Are you going to blame her toddlers next? My God, show some compassion

Yes, they met at church! Are you kidding me, yes, blame all involved, especially if it's revealed she was on the spectrum i.e. an easy mark for some low-life junkie like this.

If she was interested in marathons, a treadmill will not cut it. You people are clueless about long distance runners. Search for the posts here about the runners who poop in people's yards because long distance runs can cause issues.

I am close friends with someone who knows her and she’s not on the spectrum. The crazy speculation here is insane

Bingo. And a judge would have to sign off on that.

Are you on drugs yourself? You lack critical thinking skills.

What was she "recovering" from? Her husband seemed to use "we" and "our" in regards to their recovery and apparent substance abuse issues.

Maybe he knew the suspect and owed money for drugs so this was some sort of revenge thing and not murder for hire.

Unless he provided consent to search that and the computer they also reportedly took.

Didn’t they say it was her primary vehicle and her laptop? If so, then they might not need consent from the husband.

Good point. Only lower caste people should be kidnapped.

1. k-12 at Hutchison: $300k
2. bachelor's at Baylor: $250k
3. master's at Belmont: $100k

A Southern elite with $650k+ in private education and she's only a pre-K "teacher" at age 34? Anyone in education knows pre-K isn't actually a teacher and you certainly don't need $650k in credentials to do it. Something very odd about all of this, especially how a gal like this even lets a man like him orbit her.

Dude sounds like a sex predator:

April said she'd seen Abston at his brother's apartment nearly every day in recent months.

She described him as a 'pervert,' who once snuck up behind her and propositioned her for sex. He did the same to other women in the complex, and at times would sit in his black SUV gawking at women walking by or sitting on stoops.

'When women were around, he would sit in the truck and stare,' April said.

Whether she's a preK or kindergarten teacher (I've heard both), i cannot believe you made such a critical condescending comment. We should be glad to have and encourage well-educated teachers at all grade levels. If she doesn't need a high-paying job, what's it to you? Many people love teaching young children.

Duuuuuuh. Do you not understand that they don't just go after one suspect? They had to preserve evidence in case he was involved. This does not mean he is.

The lack of critical thinking skills is appalling.
