There is a male gym teacher who currently still teaches at Whitman who was reported by female students for having a visible erection during several class periods (while he supervised female students exercising). They even recorded it and went to the administration. He’s also known for making inappropriate comments. Nothing was done. These girls learn that their voices don’t matter.
My daughter has friends on the crew team. I can confirm that they were not surprised. Apparently he also had a pattern of grooming girls and texting them individually to complain about other girls. Disgusting. |

Coaches in MCPS are treated differently, especially if they’re well liked. Maybe people are in denial or don’t want their child to lose out on an opportunity to play, I don’t know. It makes no sense to me, but people will go nuts to protect a coach. I’m sure it’s not just the Whitman cluster. |

| Google Wheaton, IL teachers and rape. That is the school system I went to. My middle school PE teacher raped my classmate, followed her to HS and continued raping and impregnated her and I guess she aged out and he went for her little sister. Then, she finally spoke out and he was charged. I had a health teacher who groped and fondled the cute blondes in my class. I told my Mom and complained and she confronted admin and they removed me and 5 other students who complained. Nothing was done about the teacher. I worked with Bremer, a middle school teacher charged with child porno and suspected nothing. This is a pervasive problem and I see no action being taken. Castrate these mf' ers. |

Wow. I know him from when my dd rowed for TBC. I would have never guessed. He went to Penn + lives in his house in Georgetown. He must come from money. Hard to own a home in Georgetown on a coach/teacher's salary.

I’m so sorry. My Blair crew DD rowed last in 2011 and didn’t recall him, but said the sport attracts “touchy coaches AND DADS” (her text) 😫 |
