Whitman Teacher and Crew Coach Arrested

If something like this ever happened to my kid, I would destroy the rapist and his entire family. I am shocked that people just take this type of atrocity.

Still if the girls knew their friend was being raped they should have told somebody… police, counselor, parent.

Whitman Crew, operated by Whitman Crew Boosters is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It is a club sport, affiliated with Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland.

That is not what matters most - if the victim in the Whitman Crew team's parents are the Deputy Attorney General for Maryland and a Circuit Court Judge, yeah they're going to wield a lot more influence over parents who are a School Bus Driver and Clerk.

And yes, for a sport that costs $5,000+ a year per child for season practice, gear, uniforms, transportation, and extra lessons - I do expect the parents are of a high socio-economic class.

True in one sense but if they go far out of bounds for sentences from a previous case it will be appealed and tossed. So there is that.

Also the crew coach might hire Kavanaugh’s lawyer (can’t pull the name right now) and there might be no conviction. He said/she said. There better be physical evidence

If they didn’t know, trust me they are already destroyed. You wouldn’t need to attack them. I was already divorced when my XH pled guilty to sex crimes against female coworkers. It was devastating to my minor child and extremely humiliating to me because people assume I must have known. I had no idea and I’m the survivor of CSA so my radar for predators is actually overactive.

There is something seriously wrong with the culture if this is true. It reminds me of another abusive adult in this area. The parents were in denial about it and when the person was first put on probation for an investigation they were organizing to defend this person. They even had meetings. Then the person was arrested, and found guilty. No one ever talked about it again.

He was a freaking teacher in addition to being a coach. 20 years in MCPS.

There will be more victims. He didn’t just wake up one day and decide to sexually abuse a minor.
