Or she was a witness to the murder minimum.

Yeah probably saw more that she’s not disclosing. Maybe something related to the murder or other events from that night.

I don’t think it’s the mea girlfriend or Frank. Anything this early is a red herring. Maybe Frank’s fiancé killed her because the baby really is Frank’s and she wanted to prevent others from finding out. Siobhan would keep that secret if she saw anything or even just the fiancé near the party.

Why?!

Why would the super talented, super terrific Jean Smart take a role that she just has mildly interesting one-liners? And she was awake when Mare got home - and she was covering her legs up.

Here’s my theory: Katie Bailey’s mother is sick and also desperate to have her daughter’s murderer found. I think she figured if another young girl is murdered in a small town, focus would once again return on finding the killer of her daughter. I think she did it because she is dying anyway and desperate.

It is an Irish name. Lots of Irish families there and in New England

I cannot imagine a grieving mother killing a young girl to bring attention of her own missing daughter. However I do think her daughter’s case may be solved during the season as a result of the new investigation.

yeah, that's a terrible plot suggestion and not remotely viable nor interesting. YAWN.

Anyone watching it live tonight? Annoyed I have to wait until tomorrow to stream. I've been conditioned to be impatient about shows!

I streamed it at 10:02.

The planting of the easily identifiable heroin was pretty lame. She’s smart enough to find the bullet in a tree from a ricochet mark, but stupid enough to do that? I like the show a lot, but that was not a well considered plot point.

Generally agree, but she’s desperate to keep her grandson and people do dumb things for those they love. Can’t see clearly in those cases.
