| Tearing down the wall is Priority #1. It’s a monument to racism. There are people in other countries who need to better their lives, and we need those people here to do jobs Americans are too lazy or too greedy to do. |
| You don't need to tear it down. It will eventually fall as it has already started. Just give it a year or two of big winds. |
| What wall? Lol |
| I'm going to give Biden a break on this. I looked at some stuff that it isn't top headline outrage-of-the-day news and apparently Biden is quite busy working on the transition while Trump continues to try to make things difficult. He has a day job and he is doing it. |
False dichotomy. Do both. |
I'm going to give him a break anyway. It's clear that no matter what he does for whatever reason, he will be criticized for not doing something else. |
Also, covid relief isn’t outrage of the day stuff: it’s our nations most urgent crisis. |
It's been a crisis for almost a year and we've failed miserably. And the whole Trump Administration was already one crisis after another. After a while it becomes the new normal. That's where I am. Maybe Biden can fix it, but he isn't a miracle worker. It can get worse, too. Buckle up if you haven't already. Steal those potatoes if you need to. This is actually much worse than you realize. |
Biden’s a moderate, always has been a moderate, and will govern the country as a moderate. We’re in good hands. Where I fear most of the vocal irrational criticism will come from is the left who will increasingly find themselves sidelined by the admin. |
He isn't a miracle worker? He hasn't even had a fight yet. If he can't do this, why did we vote for him? The NUMBER ONE priority for Democrats in the 2020 election was Covid-19 and Economic Relief. Biden should wake up sweating about this every morning.
|
I don't know, why DID you vote for him? I voted for him because I thought he was the better choice. I didn't vote for him because I thought he would make it all better right away or expend all his political capital before he even got elected. One thing I like about Biden is that he seems to have suffered deeply enough that he doesn't wake up sweating anymore. It's not just how much he has suffered, but how he overcame it to become stronger. I can see that in him. He won't be jumping to your tune, so you'll just have to trust him. |
Trust him - of course. But dude we're up against some massive deadlines. Congress is out of session on the 21st for nearly a month through Inauguration. If he's got a rabbit to pull out of his hat, the time is now. And don't tell me he isn't a miracle worker...he stated that he wanted this done quickly. Well...? Biden urges pandemic relief compromise, testing his faith in bipartisanship “If we don’t act now, the future will be very bleak,” Biden said, speaking to reporters in Wilmington, Del. “Americans need help and they need it now, and they’ll need more to come early next year. But I must tell you, I am encouraged by the bipartisan efforts in the Senate around a $900-billion package of relief.” https://www.latimes.com/politics/story/2020-12-04/as-biden-steps-up-to-lead-on-economy-its-deja-vu-all-over-again |
