It’s Christmas. Deadly pandemic. Mothers are stealing basic staples to feed their kids in winter. Unemployment expires on 12/26. Evictions protections expire 12/31. Small business loans expire 12/31. Vaccine approvals potentially today and distribution funds expire 12/31. Hospitals and states are overwhelmed plus out of aid funds which expire 12/31.

The federal government SHUTS DOWN on 12/18.

But still nothing has been done. Forgive me if I don’t see the competency to walk and chew gum at the same time.

I want Biden to put that ‘I’ll reach out across the aisle’ magic to use and get a deal done before Christmas.

I want him to be publicly photographed in a room with McConnell and Pelosi together with a deal hammered out the same day.

I want a bipartisan proposal brought up in both legislatures with Biden pushing, shoving and flagging votes every minute.

Biden has been bragging about being BFFs with McConnell since Election Day. All I’m asking is that he cut a deal and get his buddy to bring up a Senate floor vote and push Pelosi/Schumer to let at least 10 Democrats support it.
