Where are you guys getting the "boots" part? I saw the video, he appeared to be wearing sneakers. His calves/ankles looked exposed and thin (not bulky like when you wear boots).

Why did it take a video releasing on social media in May for Georgia police to act? Ahmaud Arbery was shot on February 23rd.

A lot of people aren't supportive of Shaun King's efforts but he is a core reason someone like Ahmaud Arbery is receiving justice. Everytime there is an extrajudicial killing (especially of POC) the family should fight to have video of the act.

That's the difference between police ignoring the case and arresting the culprits in less than 48 hours.

Being a civil rights activist or 'independent' investigative journalist 24/7 does not pay the bills. Neither does podcasting. Ask me how I know.

I absolutely do not agree with even the possibility of him 'stealing' from the funds he raised. But I wouldn't be against him starting a Patreon or something to fund his activities.
