I received an email today that we are going to online play for now . No refunds. Kids will be sent lessons via social media/email.
Maybe we will have a virtual league this spring... |
I'll save the chillpill for you there, cupcake. |
Sounds a lot like kicking the ball around in the back yard and playing FUT. I'm sure someone will be able to tier that into divisions and sell it back to us for an elite experience. |
Right. Everybody is always out to get your little pile of coins. Aren't we so lucky to have you looking out for us!! |
Tommy, is that you? Looks like I touched a nerve. |
We’ve been letting Tommy pocket ridiculous amounts of money for years. Why should we change that? Obviously the board thinks his needs outweigh those of the community. |

Pipeline set all the kids up with a soccer training app last week. They can compete with others on their team and in the club on certain timed drills. Our coach sends emails every few days giving shout outs to the kids who have logged the most time on it.
They are also not collecting the last monthly payment for this year. Those who paid in full already get a credit towards next year. |
| Coaches should not get paid during this time. Plenty of others are not being paid. Give us our money back! |
| Xbox fifa competition with video coaching. Only $2000 to have your kid enter. |

Clubs that are nonprofits can now apply for SBA loans at 2.75% interest rate repayable up to a term of 30 years
So Clubs have an ability to do a lot of things if they act smart and respnsibly |

| I love that fact that this guy Tommy Park is so under your skin that you bring him up in a forum topic entirely unrelated to the guy and yet somehow you manage to bring him into it. Who cares how much money he makes especially at a time like this. Get a life |

The hysteria in some of these soccer threads is always bizarre.
nable Hopefully the clubs can come up with some compromise - maybe a partial credit or something - given everything that is going on so long as the clubs at least pay their staff we can suck it up and forget about the lost season but as others have pointed out the clubs are saving some real money on expenses they won't be incurring so some money back or as a future credit is a reasonable expectation. But in this entire thread there is only one mention of insurance - surely some clubs have insurance that might cover this? |
Maybe Tommy can use some of that $350K/year to pay for the coaches actually doing the work? |
Most of all business interruption insurance has a pandemic clause/exception. So insurance won’t work. |
