Elizabeth Warren hot mic comments

I couldn't possibly care less about what she said.

There are bigger fish to fry. If you're smart and don't want another 4 years of Trump, you will move on.

Maybe in your nursing home that argument holds water?

Sanders knows the system is horribly rigged to enrich a vanishingly small minority. If you’re willing to ruin that minority’s privileges, it’s not that hard to dramatically improve almost everyone else’s lot.

Warren is the more generic Ivy League Democrat that attacks money+power outside their world, but misses that Harvard and co. are actually the most disturbing bastions of privilege around.

Sanders looks wildly better than Warren after this episode, even though I’m tempted to think he’s been too gentle towards her.

Did Elizabeth Warren request it be released? Bernie?

Or, was CNN hoping to try to make Bernie look bad, again? And, if you don't think they were biased against Bernie during the debate, you weren't paying attention.

That's a good question. That was a private conversation after the public debate -- wouldn't Warren AND Sanders have to consent to release it?

Or, was it leaked by who-knows-who...

Did Obama consent to having his remark about "Tell Putin that I'll have more flexibility after the election" released? Stuff on hot mics get revealed.

Not nearly the same. Obama's admission to trading off US foreign policy for personal political gain was caught in a meeting in Seoul. It was a shared mic used by the White House press pool.

In Warren's case, it was a CNN mic in a CNN debate, during which CNN panelists had been biased towards Warren and against Bernie.

I see. You're saying that he admitted to using his influence/control over foreign policy for his own personal gain? Wouldn't that have....ya know....resulted in an impeachment?

No. If you’re smart and want to beat Trump, you need to face up to Democrats’ self-inflected wounds. And Warren has done her best to show she’s got serious problems that play into Trump’s hands.

She's a nasty piece of work with unworkable far-left policies. And people are actually considering her????

You don’t get impeached for harming the American people, if so Pelosi would have gone after GWB between 2007 and 2009. You get impeached for threatening the Democratic Party. That’s why something that may involve withholding delivery of missiles to a government full of actual Nazis (aka The Ukrainians) possibly to prompt an investigation of Biden’s crackhead son’s mystery $500k+ board position at Burisma, was deemed impeachment worthy.

In retrospect, perhaps it should have...... But, that was when there was a Republican House and they had a little more sense than our current one.

You’re naive if you think a Harvard Professor is “far-left”!

Bernie Bro projection. Bernie has no friends, no colleagues with whom he works and gets along with, nothing to show for his decades as a socialist and independent (though he’s not too proud to suckle at the teat of the DNC when he wants more visibility), and absolutely zero plans to accomplish anything.

You've never been to Harvard, have you?

Obviously planned.

Leak before the debate, clearly a timed leak

Walk over directly after the debate while you are positive the mike is hot and call him out for calling you a liar. Chance to look authoritative.

Bernie got played big time. Completely plausible the conversation never occurred and he never said it. She set him up and he got worked over.

I got the same impression.
