Considering that CNN was "breaking the story" about Bernie's alleged comments in the 24 hours prior to the debate, you may be on to something. |
Not nearly the same. Obama's admission to trading off US foreign policy for personal political gain was caught in a meeting in Seoul. It was a shared mic used by the White House press pool. In Warren's case, it was a CNN mic in a CNN debate, during which CNN panelists had been biased towards Warren and against Bernie. |
Me again. To that end, here is an article about Donald pushing Bernie to be more inflammatory. Remember, any discord among the Democrats basically works to the benefit of the GOP. http://nymag.com/intelligencer/amp/2020/01/trump-bernie-sanders-impeachment-biden-primary-rigged.html?__twitter_impression=true |

I think they’re actively trying to give Sanders another heart attack. They are all vile going after an elderly man with a known heart condition. |
Warren has no problem belittling people in public and I’ve seen that behavior in her for years. Not saying others don’t do it too but she is particularly uncouth in her behavior and doesn’t take ownership of it like Trump does. |
Why in the world would you vote for Warren or Sanders? I mean honestly. They just BS about spending all of this money on programs that may work in small countries with little poverty, but will completely destroy the US. |
Why is he running if he can’t take the heat. |
If Elizabeth Warren was my strong first choice, this would be a mild ding against her. I'm still making up my mind as to who is my first choice, and this behavior reminds me of Trump (refusing to shake hands, putting something inflammatory out there so he either agrees with her or is "calling her a liar.") Definitely not a good move for her.
I could see them having discussed something like who would be most electable, in private. I don't think whatever was discussed should be public record. That is, if Bernie said something honest like "I don't know if America is ready to elect its first woman president" I don't see any good reason to share that on stage at a debate. |
Who's that "they"? |
I was already planning on voting for Warren, but this just solidified my support for her. We have no way of knowing who got the story into the press - she shared it with five people at the time it happened. She has no control over the debate or the questions asked, and quite honestly, women are damned if they do, damned if they don’t respond. Bernie may well not think that’s what he said, or maybe didn’t mean it, but this is entirely correct “I hate to break hearts but how about neither Bernie or Warren are lying. His comment likely had a particular context, and she heard it in a particular way. This is literally how human interaction often works when people end up with misunderstandings.” (https://mobile.twitter.com/rabiasquared/status/1217299500089462784) I am so, so sick of seeing the vilest Sanders supporters - who have shown themselves to have serious problem with women - calling Warren every vile name in the book and then getting pissy that she’s not taking the attacks lying down. |
It is the same folks who helped elect Trump. |
CNN/Warren/Hilary. It’s all a conspiracy. If Bernie bites it we know who to point the finger at. |
More like she lies when she needs to! |
Any proof of that "conspiracy"? Frankly I think it's just CNN doing what CNN does: partisan propaganda to draw eyeballs and make money. |
