Most people aren't. |
| Liberals run on only taxing rich people. But they only tax the middle class in real life. |
The state doesn’t tax property. |
Well, yes, the middle class also needs to pay taxes. Without taxes, we (the US) can't pay for the services we (Americans) want the government to provide. Now Republicans, they run on cutting taxes, but they only cut taxes for rich people. |
Troll. Maga hat wearing inbred. |
Who do you think employs the middle and working lower classes? Yes ... that’s right, the rich in the form of proprietorships, partnerships, or corporations. Well, except for state, local, and federal government. In those cases, it is not the rich employing, but rather the powerful. Either way, the employer takes more and more of either the income or the taxes. You’re just upset that you’re neither the rich nor the powerful. Keep working smart and hard and maybe you’ll get there someday. |
Terrific. Guess who makes the rich people rich? Yes...that's right, the middle and working classes. It's like Willie Sutton said. Tax the rich, because that's where the money is. |
as last PP I just don't get this thread since Virginia has a car tax relief of reduced amounts built into the tax formula. https://www.vbgov.com/government/departments/commissioner-of-the-revenue/personal-property/Pages/personal-property-tax-relief-(PPTR)-calculator.aspx Current Tax Rate: $4.00 per $100.00 Tax Relief on first $20,000.00: 50.3% At the 4 rate $7000 car owned for 12 months pays $139.16, If that old car is replaced with a 22000 it's 477.60. Loudoun's rate is $4.2 and Fairfax's is $4.57. The state comes up with the 20,000 and the car tax relief %. So if you have an old car that works well it's best to keep it running. VA could increase car tax relief. |
| Why not just add a extra fee onto registration of your car?? Say an extra 500 a year to cars worth more than 50, 000?? And go up from there. To say 1500 extra for a vehicle worth more than than 100,000. |
. year after year after year we bring in higher tax revenue than ever. We don’t have a taxation issue in this country. We have a spending issue. |
Either way, you’re screwed buddy. The rich will always be rich no matter how much you think you’re taxing them and the government will always be in power no matter who you vote for. The only hope you have is to get rich enough so that you can buy the politicians. |
Learn some history, please. |
| Good, the latinos can finally give back to the community. They require employment of ESOL teachers and tons of extra money and support in our public schools. And, clearly they are not paying many taxes due to being poor. Stop being a drain on society please |
Find a less racist way to say this and people may listen. |
