| No one cares nearly as much as you think they care. Seriously. |

The most ridiculous thing about people being upset that they don't know the baby's gender before the baby's born is that they will eventually find out. It isn't as if it'll be a secret forever and no one will know. The idea that people can even know the gender before birth is so new in the scheme of things that I can't fathom that people would think not finding out is "wrong" or "obnoxious."

| OP, if you are paying attention to all this drama, you have a tough road ahead as a parent. Let. It. Go. |
I had no problem finding gender-neutral baby clothes and blankets and toys. Plenty of cute stuff in colors other than blue or pink. |
Not always clear. In our case, the baby's position made it hard to tell. The tech said she could try again, and we said not to bother, we didn't really want to know. |
And I'll add, I found plenty of stuff in the store, not just online. Target is chock-full of yellow ducky jammies and green frog onesies. |
Ahh, the jealousy argument! Next you'll be arguing that women who work by choice are jealous of SAHMs. |

| I find it annoying too OP. |
A lot of times they are! |
More like the opposite. |
Why are you finding gender neutral baby clothes? Why not just buy off the registry? Or buy books? Or a million other things that a new baby needs. New babies really don't need clothes. |
You only feel this way because you have a constant need to interfere in other people’s lives. Sorry PP |
+1. I’m sure they wouldn’t mind a gift card/cash also. |

Who cares what others think. Your kid, your decision. Tell them exactly what you said “we have neutral items on our list or you can wait until after he/she is born” - the end.
People kill me when they have opinions about what you should do during your pregnancy, your baby, your life. Be happy and keep your opinions/comments to yourself! It’s just that simple. Congratulations on your pregnancy! |
