Kathy isn't that petty and she doesn't need to rely on a technicalitiy to win, she is an excellent coach. That said I was betting on Visi this year. Anyone want to share the score? |
| 9 to 7 in Visitation's favor. It was a great game. I was a scoffer about the stick check but there was one. Go figure. |
| KJ does it in every big game usually at the end. |

One is not that unusual. NBD.

Go going into the final regular season games the AA standings are:
Visi (6-0, still to play SR) SSSAS (4-1, still to play SR and HC) Stone Ridge (4-1, still to play GV and SSSAS) Holton (3-3, still to play Potomac) Potomac (3-3, still to play Holton) Bullis (2-4, still to play EHS) Episcopal (1-4, still to play Bullis) Holy Child (0-5, still to play SSSAS) |
| Top division may be best collection of teams in one conference in the US. |
| No chance - If you matched up the top 6 !AAM A division teams against the top 6 ISL, IAAM would go at least 5-1 |
|
Final standings gong into tournament:
Visi (7-0) SSSAS (6-1) Holton (4-3) Stone Ridge (4-3) Bullis (3-4) Potomac (2-5) Episcopal (1-6) Holy Child (0-7) So 1st round games on Tuesday: Visi v HC, SSSAS v EHS, Holton v Potomac, SR v Bullis |
| Fake news! HC beat Episcopal and finishes 7th due to head to head win. Episcopal will move down next year. |
Oops. Sorry. Thats GREAT!! |
| SR hasn’t played Visi yet. Stop posting fake news |
Girls, play nice. The game was cancelled because of the thunderstorms in the area. There was a delay first but by 6 pm there was still significant thunder and some lightening so the game was cancelled. The refs left when the game was cancelled and then Visi conducted its Senior Day ceremony. Visi very nicely included the SR seniors in the ceremony by introducing them and giving each SR senior a rose as well. The game has been rescheduled for Monday. |
| Visi goes down |
hmmm. let's guess. holton or SSSA? |
|
So is the only outstanding game the SR-Visi match-up (due to weather)? Wonder why they didn't make it up on Friday. With daughters at neither, but having seen both teams play a few times, I would bet heavily on Visi but, I hope SR brings their very best to that game.
Its been an odd season for the ISL AA teams with several surprising outcomes, with the Holton-Bullis game at the top of that list and then perhaps the Potomac-Holy Child game, although HC's season overall was a surprise. On paper they looked really good but never really seemed to gel as a team. Potomac in particular seems to have had the most uneven season, losing to weaker teams and besting, or at least doing well against, several stronger teams. And then we have SSSAS which did better than many expected but still couldn't manage to beat Visi. Just goes to show once again that on any day any team can beat any other. |
