| Cavs 2023 lost to Western Loudoun rec in a scrimmage last year. |
| Cavs 2024, 25 and 27 all won their divisions at the Aloha Brine Indian Summer Tournament this past weekend. |
| Who did they beat? |
|
The fact that Cavs puts their teams in the Indian Summer Tournament is all you need to know about that club.
And their 2023 team was never a Top 20 team and now they've lost their best players to BW and VLC. |
Cavs 2024 beat FCA MD, Evergreen, and True MD, and then lost to FCA MD in the final. Cavs 2025 thrashed Evergreen twice, Team 302, and Sidewinders. Cavs 2026 lost to BayDogs and East Side Lacrosse, but beat Ground Control LC. Cavs 2027 beat Top Caliber, Team 302, Rockfish Purple, and Team 302 in the final. Seems like the usual teams that the Cavs play.
Looks to me like the Cavs played well and had fun, which is the important thing unless you have a bizarre, snooty attitude about tournaments. |
| You are actually bragging about beating Evergreen? |
Nope. My kid does not play for the Cavs. I have no reason to boast about them, and I couldn't care less what you think about them. Hate on them all you want if it makes you feel better for some incomprehensible reason. All I said was the Cavs boys played well and had fun. |
Yeah, right. LOL. |
Yes, a combined 25/26 Evergreen team. |
Truer words have never been spoken!!! There will always be a better club, better players, better tourney's etc. Get in where you fit in at the given time and enjoy the ride. The journey IS the destination because it will all be over in a flash. |

| It would easier to ride that kumbuyah surfboard if they didnt charge so much for supar coaching and tournaments. |
They charge about the same as the other second tier clubs, and a lot less than MadLax. Of course, MadLax parents have to come and diss other teams so they don't feel so bad about paying huge money so their kid can warm the bench, LMAO. |
| Cavs and Madlax cost the same. |
It's a free country. Nobody is forcing you or your kid to join any club. As for the tourney's, what good is showing up to a top level tournament just to be decimated? Most clubs enter tournaments that they feel will offer a similar or slightly better level of competition. You want the kids to be challenged, but also experience some level of success. Going to tournaments and being run off the field for six games in a row over a weekend sucks for ALL involved. Players, parents and even the competition who also came for a challenge. |
