It doesn’t have to be this way. You too can find peace. But probably not as a liberal. Change can be scary. Embrace it.
OP is correct. Think about it, people.
Liberals fear Christians more than cats fear dogs. It’s not because liberals fear Hell; it’s because People who strive to live by a higher standard, people who hold themselves and others accountable for their actions, people who are self sufficient and don’t need a giant faceless government to change their diapers, scare the holy bejesus out of liberals. It pains me to write this, but it’s true.
BS. Republicans of your mold are what are pseudo Christians. Democrats regularly hold themselves accountable. Witness Franken, etc. Even Hillary acknowledged her stupid email practices. BTW. Far less than 1% of her emails were classified as confidential or secret. The question for Republicans is whether they have any standards at all other than the pure desire for power. And Christians are called to care for their family man, something foreign to Republicans.
Jesus was A communist. No property, ate in the fields, no materialism, communal sharing. How many of your Christian liberal friends or Conservative Christians in America are opening their homes to refugees, the homeless, the downtrodden? If any of you have a spare bedroom but let people go homeless, you are not living by Christian ideals. If you own property, have bank accounts, have extra clothes when some people have none, you are not living Christian ideals. Each side uses biblical quotes for their own end, nice sound bites to try to prove hypocrisy when both sides are guilty.
