Fear and anger fuels liberals

Why so angry? Why so fearful? I suspect it is the lack of morality in your worldview that makes you fearful of those who live by standards you cannot uphold. I get why you are scared. I don't think they're really fearful. They pretend to be because they see it as a winning election strategy. If they can get enough of their base scared that Hitler has been reincarnated, they will come out to the polls. That's all it really is.

That's also why liberals cannot admit that there is plenty of bigotry among their own ranks. If they did, it would kill the strategy.

Liberals fear Christians more than cats fear dogs. It’s not because liberals fear Hell; it’s because People who strive to live by a higher standard, people who hold themselves and others accountable for their actions, people who are self sufficient and don’t need a giant faceless government to change their diapers, scare the holy bejesus out of liberals. It pains me to write this, but it’s true.

I thought about the OP's comment on higher standards. And then I saw a vision of Donald Trump cheating on his pregnant wives. I thought about the comment about change. And I realized that conservatism is a philosophy based on fear of change to the social order. I thought about peace, and Jesus came to mind. He said we should take in the stranger and care for the poor and oppressed.

So I thought about it. But probably not the way you wanted me to.
