Fear and anger fuels liberals

I don't disagree with trying to figure out what really works in terms of a long-term welfare/ safety net solution. But trying to say it's what Jesus is telling you to do (see PP above) is disingenuous and wrong.

FFS

Can we please divorce your ignorant asses already?

Try to silence any group of people and you are going to get an uprising. Which is why you so desperately want to disarm them first. F'ing Nazi.

I want you to go back a couple of years when you were telling people to "check their white privilege" and guilting people for history they had no control of. Did you think there wouldn't be a backlash? You f*cks caused this and now we have to stop it thanks to your racial shit stirring on a daily basis.

B/C racism doesn't exist anymore

You can eye-roll all you want. If you try to put people in chains, as Biden so 'eloquently' put it, you get a backlash.

Yes, indeed. If you put people in chains you get a backlash. Why don't you go explain that to people in the BLM movement? You might find you have common ground with African Americans after all.

What happens to a dream deferred?

It doesn’t have to be this way. You too can find peace. But probably not as a liberal. Change can be scary. Embrace it.

Peculiar question coming from conservatives who still seem mad as hell despite controlling every lever of government.

We have good reason to be angry, though. Maybe we shouldn't take Trump's troll bait, but he's a stain on America.

You think the republicans on the hill give a sh*t about christians? They don't. They care about their tax cut b/c they are all rich. You are being used, but are too stupid to know that.

Right on. I think that no matter how facile they might b when you are always thinking of ways to deceive it cant help but effect their mental health. Eventually they cannot reason very well and their charade becomes all too obvious.

Is the above actually coming from liberals? You guys are the party of decades of poverty, millions of dead babies, slavery, and the Jim Crow south. And you were saying what, exactly about Republicans? It’s amazing how deluded you are. Must be the fear of independent thinkers running this country.

That's exactly what they're scared of - people who can think for themselves and aren't sheep, blindly following the liberal party line. While there are some aspects of the Democratic platform that I agree with, I could never vote for another Democrat again. They haven't just moved too far left - they've fallen off the cliff entirely.

PP here. This is what I'm talking about. You make no sense. The Dem and R party switched decades ago. Stop using that line. Dixiecrats are now republicans. I'm pro choice so your entire dead baby thing is crazy. Plus, I've always known many pro-choice republican women. I live in DC. Who's independent? We fundamentally believe different things about the way the country should run. I can accept that. I can't accept the stupid name calling about dead babies, etc.

I'm not a liberal. I used to be a R, turned I. I lean fiscally conservative, socially liberal. When Trump was elected, I feared

- that racists would come out of the woodwork
- that even legal immigrants would be harassed
- that our country's political standing in the world would diminish
- that we would become a laughingstock in the world
- that all ethics and morality would be gone from the WH
- that even regulations to protect our environment and consumers would be removed just to appease big busineses

And now my fears have become reality.

Why haven't you moved to Canada then?

So many people promised to do that, yet they're still here.

Why?

Wait I thought fear and anger were what propelled Trump to the presidency?
Anonymous
eh, what's the difference, haha?

Optimism put trump in the White House; optimism and a rejection of the notion that our value as people derives solely from our skin color

Science has proven conservatives have larger amygdalas (fear centers in their brains), thus rendering this thread void.
