Angry at the destruction of long-cherished ideals of democracy and the crumbling of standards of behavior and ethics. Does that not make you angry?
Fearful at the thought of irreplacable damage to our environment, of an unstable narcissist who doesn't believe in diplomacy dealing with another unstable narcissist who doesn't believe in diplomacy. If you have a lobotomy I guess I can see not fearing the consequences of such things. |
This is spot-on. Well said. |
If there's one thing this thread makes clear, it's that conservatives don't study the bible much anymore. You're so certain about what it should say, but when the words don't match your belief, you don't know how to respond.
The correct response to bible passages that trouble you is not to explain away, but to study and to pray. |
Oh silly poster. Most of the liberals I know are Christian. Some are Jewish, and some are Hindu, and some are Muslim, and some are athiests. But by far the largest lot of them are Christian. They don't fear themselves. Now go get some sleep. It'll help. |
And I will come near you for judgment;
I will be a swift witness Against sorcerers, Against adulterers, Against perjurers, Against those who exploit wage earners and widows and orphans, And against those who turn away an alien— Because they do not fear Me,” Says the Lord of hosts. Malachi 3:5 |
Can’t even come up with an original thought, OP? Pathetic.

Most liberals I know are Christians who don't believe acting out of fear and anger. I am one if them too Obama is an example of a Christian who does not act out of fear and anger. "The key to understanding Trump's support among evangelicals is to realize that some evangelicals' commitment to the faith is shaky, too. Trump does best among evangelicals with one key trait: They don't really go to church. In short, the evangelicals supporting Trump are not the same evangelicals who have traditionally comprised the Christian Right and supported cultural warriors such as Rick Santorum and Ted Cruz." "Recently released data from the 2016 American National Election Studies (ANES) Pilot Study illustrate this. The study was conducted from Jan. 22-28, and here I focus on white respondents who called themselves born-again Christian" More frin the study available at: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/monkey-cage/wp/2016/03/29/where-is-trumps-evangelical-base-not-in-church/ |
This is so true. That's why they have near constant marches - it's all about the optics and whipping up others into a frenzy of outrage. There never seems to be rational thought or common sense. Just... outrage and hyperbole. |
Jesus said ''teach them to fish'' not to stuff them with freebies. America takes those who are oppressed. Does not mean the country has to take everyone who think that they are oppressed or to open it's borders. |
Would you have been drafted? A surprising amount of military are conservatives not liberal. Has a liberal politician never slept with a hooker or high class escort? Did you come into this world wearing clothes? |
So why is it that atheist libs stigmatize Christians as being Jew hating, far right, fantasy believing in the bible, white men if they believe most liberals are Christian? Yes, most of you do stigmatize Christians and it's actually very contradictory of a Christian to be liberal however which way you look at it especially in this current political climate. |
Oye vey! The reason most of the liberals you know are Christian is because most of the country is Christian! I'm going to the grocery store this afternoon, and bet most of the people there will be Christian, although a few may be Jewish, or Muslim, or Hindu. I bet most people who buy Hondas and Camrys are Christian. I bet most people who ride the Metro are Christian. (This is fun and I can keep going, but you get my point.) That doesn't mean that the disdain for Christians, and white males in general, isn't coming almost exclusively from liberals. That is because liberals always side FOR whom they see as the underdog and AGAINST those they see in the superior position. It does not matter if the underdog is in the wrong. It doesn't matter if the underdog is breaking the law. The only thing that matters is that they are in the inferior position, and thus worthy of having advantages treatment applied to them. (Have you heard how some Democrats are reducing charges when they are against illegal immigrants to help them from being deported, while the full weight of the law is applied - rightly - to citizens?) And before you libs jump on me, please note I did NOT say these people are inferior. I am talking about the position only, from a legal or societal perspective. |
+1 What an embarrassment OP must be. |
Trump is a Republican in name only. He actually wants to win instead of screaming stop infront of a oncoming train like conservatives. |
Oh, you mean disdain for these white men chanting "Jews will not replace us"? ![]() |
