| I also don't think she was offended. Why would she even care? The guy's a loser. Plus she hears music in her mind saying it's going to be all right. |
Huh? Uh, never mind. Don't need to know about that. |
It's an offensive song. In his own twisted mind he made Taylor "famous" by publicly degrading her. Now he's done it again and in his effed up head she should be grateful to him. Maybe if she had put out he wouldn't have made this disgusting song and music video about her? I think it's a very intimidating video. Nothing "tongue in cheek" or funny about it. NOT what they discussed - AT ALL. |
I kind of agree with Kanye. ANY publicity is good publicity. Public sympathy for her renews attention on her and gets her more album sales. She is going to make BANK out of the events of this summer. |
No. She has been hurt by this - this was not the kind of publicity that she ever wanted. Not sure what Kanye was thinking. |
|
Not sure what Kanye was thinking? Swift trashed him at the Grammys and brought public opinion of him even lower than it already was in some circles.
Taylor Swift said about a year ago that one of her biggest fears was being privately filmed or having a private conversation recorded, and I can now understand why -- it shows that she is much more self-aware and less innocent than her public image suggests. And as her Grammy speech (and Bad Blood, and all those breakup songs) show, she is also vengeful. If she feels you have wronged her, whether she's right or not, you will feel her punitive rage. I'm sort of curious what Lena Dunham makes of all this. I know she hated the Famous video with the hate of a thousand suns and compared it to a snuff film. But I wonder what she thinks of the situation with the song. Dunham is much more self aware and interested in causes like Black Lives Matter and helped Swift figure out she was wrong with the Nikki Minaj Twitter dust up a year ago, where Swift issued an apology to Minaj for assuming Minaj was insulting her. And I think Dunham has said positive things about Kardashian in the past. In another context I feel like Dunham might help Swift out here but maybe they both hate West so much by now that it would never happen. |
She has already started. 4 of her old albums are back on the Billboard 100 chart. Who knows, maybe all of this really was planned out between the three of them for the $$$$$$$ |
Uh, no it was not. |
| Not a fan of any of these people but the Swift apologists really slay me. Poor lil Taylor. ::insert eyeroll:: |

In a nutshell:
• Yes, Kanye did in fact call Taylor to showcase the lyrics to his upcoming song. He read her the part about they "might still have sex" which she never denied publicly. He tricked her by 1). Not letting her know she was being audio-taped and 2). Not letting her know he was going to refer to her as a bitch. If later on, he added the bitch line, he should have called her again like he did the first time to give her a heads-up as her "friend." He never did because there is no tape showing him telling her he was going to call her a bitch. • In the state of CA, it is entirely illegal to record audio on a person without their consent. What Kanye did was blatantly illegal even if she was on speaker. He never informed her she was on speaker, he just assumed she would figure it out. • When the song came out, Taylor had every right to be offended and she was telling the truth when she stated Kanye never asked her permission to call her a bitch or ran the song by her. Then to find out she had been recorded without her consent was the icing on the cake!! She did nothing wrong, Kanye did everything wrong so 100% it is his fault. |

How can Kim stay with a man who would bring up the possibility of sleeping with another woman??
Most women would understandably leave. |
I'm sure that she is grateful to Kanye for making her famous, right? |
| Seriously people, how innocent can TS be after that many years in show business? If she is, she has a mental problem. I'd think that surviving a pride of lions is easier than surviving show business and degenerate people in it. TS had to learn, even if she was nice to start with, that only the strongest survive. Kanye and Kim are nothing but trash anyway, money grabbing whores both of them. We are a pathetic society that follows the life and pay for the life of these degenerates. |
Uh no. It's not illegal. Stop making up shit. The two-party consent rule is based on a right to privacy in regarding your communications. If you are on a speaker phone in which anyone who walks by can hear the conversation, you've essentially waived in privacy rights. Thus, not illegal what Kamye did. FWIW, I always tell people take me off the speaker, and I'm not in a two-party consent state. |
Anyone who has ever been put on speaker knows you can tell immediately when you are on speaker. Plus, She knew she was on speaker as she was heard talking to others in the room. |
