Taylor Swift said about a year ago that one of her biggest fears was being privately filmed or having a private conversation recorded, and I can now understand why -- it shows that she is much more self-aware and less innocent than her public image suggests.

And as her Grammy speech (and Bad Blood, and all those breakup songs) show, she is also vengeful.  If she feels you have wronged her, whether she's right or not, you will feel her punitive rage.

I'm sort of curious what Lena Dunham makes of all this.  I know she hated the Famous video with the hate of a thousand suns and compared it to a snuff film.  But I wonder what she thinks of the situation with the song.  Dunham is much more self aware and interested in causes like Black Lives Matter and helped Swift figure out she was wrong with the Nikki Minaj Twitter dust up a year ago, where Swift issued an apology to Minaj for assuming Minaj was insulting her.  And I think Dunham has said positive things about Kardashian in the past.  In another context I feel like Dunham might help Swift out here but maybe they both hate West so much by now that it would never happen.[/quote]
