Who should pay for a date?

If the guy made me pay half on a first day, I would have excused myself to go to the ladies room then outside to let air out of his tires and key his car.

I also made nice meals at home, but all the guys I dated paid! I sense these are some low rent guys on this thread though.

I'd tell you thanks, but pay for your own meal. Tip is up to you. Then tell the server to split it. Done...

Seems like more self entitled women. It's like picking and choosing what parts of life you want equality in and which you don't.

OP said he doesn't care to see her again, he saved himself money and used it during an outing with his friends.

And FWIW I'm doing well for myself. I hate when women expect me to pay for them, especially when they know I have a good income. It's irritating

This reminds me of a big mistake I made years ago. I had this really nice looking guy for a client, and a cute friend who was also single. I set them up, they met at a chain restaurant for dinner. When they were ordering drinks, he rudely told the waiter that's all they would be having. After like 1 drink he made up an excuse and left. She said he didn't even walk her to her car. I was horrified. He had just been dumped by his very beautiful wife, but a horrible personality. She was blonde, cute, lot's going on. His expectations were unrealistic, apparently he was a total loser to boot. I'm sure he's alone or on his 4th wife, lol.

Agreed, I've made my money through my business investments and my consulting firm. As far as wise financial decisions, wasting money on lousy dates doesn't make it to the top of the list.

On a second note, glad I married a good woman and don't have this crap to contend with anymore. I got lucky apparently.

I'd tell you no problem. Excuse to go to restroom, out the door and home never to talk to your CHEAP ass again!

Typical DC woman bro...if you live here this is what you get.

Notice in a restaurant the server almost always puts the bill by the man? There's a reason for that, it's call social norms. Men have expectations of women, women have the same.

Nope, it's split. You're a big girl pay your own way, you have a job and get paid just like I do
