| Home daycare, center or nanny, anything can happen. The Minnieland Academy fight club fiasco was at a respected, licensed center. There are excellent home daycare providers out there and horrible ones. This story just hits home how difficult it can be to leave your child with anyone. I am crying at my desk right now and my 6mo old isn't even in daycare. He is cared for by my mother. |
| His uneven employment history is a bit of a red flag, but it would never have occurred to me to ask to see a resume. References, yes, but he probably had some good oness, and sociopaths are often very charming. Poor little baby and her poor parents. They must be in agony. |
It's a HUGE red flag. I wouldn't even hire somebody to do data entry for me with that type of employment history. |

It says he has both dyslexia and ADHD. Could that have something to do with his erratic work history? |
|
So are they SURE it wasn't the parents? Maybe she got sick at daycare after feeling crappy with all of those injuries from home?
|
There has to be more to the story. A parent doesn't just not notice that their child's leg and arm are broken... This is just awful. |
I was thinking that too. Maybe there was an underlying bone condition that led to the fractures? I seem to remember that happening in one case some time ago. |
| The parents are women. It seems unlikely to me that two women would conspire to harm a six month old so grievously, but I guess it's possible. They also noted there was blood found in the stroller at day care and bloodied wipes in the garbage. |
What??!! |
| Yes sometimes lesbians have babies these days! |
|
If the baby was bleeding then blood would have gotten onto the things at the daycare. I don't know that it proves or disproves where the injuries happened. Or who/what inflicted the injuries.
|
Does the biological father know his child was killed? |
How the heck would we know? It may be an anonymous donor. |
I don't think it does, but it doesn't match the suspect's story. He never mentioned any bleeding. |
| Wondering how the guy babysitter got charged rather than his wife who was also a licensed provider at that home location...? |
