Yes. I am not into sports, but loved the photography and action of the games. |
Forgot to add Tim Riggens for simply awesome American Boy and Coach Taylor whose every gesture was that of the best coach, ever. |
Hope OP takes our advice! |
OP here, just started Season 2. Different story lines from the first season, and I miss the football. It feels different. I should stick with it, right? (Oh, and I told my husband that Tim Riggins was outrageously handsome. He watched one episode, and said, "I am a heterosexual man, and I have to agree with you.") |
| OP, just a heads up: There is a strange, kind of unbelievable plot twist early in season two that many critics panned-- rightly so-- and attributed to the Hollywood writers' strike. Don't be discouraged, just keep on. Season two also has some of the best episodes/scenes of the series. |
| Tim. Riggins. |
Season 2 was the worst season of the whole series, IMO. |
|
Stick with it.
A straight man. I love Tim riggins. |
| Different PP. I don't want a soap opera. Season 2 isn't working for me. |
NP. Same thing. Watched some of FNL and could not get into the idea of following the ups and down drama of a bunch of teenagers. And the adults weren't enough to keep me going. |
Then you don't appreciate how well they wrote Coach Taylor's role. Amazing television. |
| Yes! Great show and book is amazing, you'd love it. |
It gets better. Season 3 is good, but the main characters all graduate at the end and you think, where are they going to go with this? In the season finale there's a twist and you think the show is going to jump the shark, but then... season 4 and 5 are flat-out AMAZING. I actually think they are the best seasons of the show. |
I couldn't sit through all that just to watch when Coach Taylor and the other adults were featured. But I know others enjoyed it. |
| The show is amazing. I love almost every character on it. Watch it- you won't regret it!! |
