Standing up except when it's late at night, both because I don't want to turn on the light and I'm pretty certain to pee all over the place if I can't see the toilet, and because the stream is quite loud in an otherwise silent house.

| I am married for 16 years and I have no clue how does my husband peeing. Never shared the bathroom. I think there are some things that should be kept private to preserve romance for the long term. |

My father, my husband and my son always pee sitting down.

| I'm kind of shocked all these men pee sitting down. This would never cross my mind. However, in recent years in public urinals I have noticed men that should know better with their pants halfway around their ankles or clearly have their belt and front of their pants opened when peeing instead of just using the zipper. I think I know why now! Operator error. |

| I asked my dh this as I didn't know and this thread sparked my curiosity. Dh said the only time he pees sitting down is when he is pooping as it all kind of just comes out at once. |

| My DH sits but I only know this because he told me years ago when someone else brought this topic up. I do not see him pee! And he does not see me. Yes, it has happened once or twice by accident but we try to retain just a teeny bit of mystery/dignity. |

My husband sits and felt really strongly when potty training our boy that we teach him to sit also.

My DH usually stands unless he also is pooping. That said,
I have never seen splashing or bad aim and we share a bathroom. We have daughters so he is the only guy in the house. |

| My DH sits. When our DS was potty training I had to show him how to stand, and how to hold his penis because my DH wasn't able to demonstrate by doing it standing up! |
