Husband peeing "sitting-down"

Anonymous
My husband and I are having a debate and we'd like to know what's happening in other homes. He recently started peeling sitting down. This is not something I made him do. He says it's just easier than having to worry about spots on the toilet or floor. It makes sense to me. I told him that I bet other men do this too, and he really believes very few men do this. He only does it in our home, not public restrooms. I could care less how he pees, honestly, but I am super curious to know how does it all go in your homes?

Both. Not sure why he chooses to sometimes sit, i think its usually when half asleep, would ask but hes out of town and would think i lost my mind if i texted or called to ask that!

Who cares

My DH sits or stands depending on his mood. He sits because he says its easier and he does not have to bother with aim. OP get over your stereotypical fashions about how men should pee, you sound sexist.

Mine sits.

I pee standing up if I am wearing a belt, sitting down if I am just in underwear/pajamas.

In Germany most men are trained to pee sitting down all the time, I think.

Mine is sitting down as we speak with the bathroom door open.

He always sits at home.

I sit, but it's mainly b/c I sleep in a different room from my wife and when I use the toilet at like 2 a.m. (nightly -- I probably have an enlarged prostate or something), if I stand and pee it wakes up the kids.

I've been with my husband 5 years - I don't know how he pees. Is that weird? We tend to avoid discussing bathroom stuff.

How old are the sit down pee'rs

Mine sits in the middle of the night. He figures his aim might not be great in the dark! I'd like it if he always sat. Doesn't bother me.

Sits when he's tired. An old boyfriend did too. Pretty typical I'm guessing.

I pee up, and from the bathroom's door. 100% accurate aim, thanks to practice. Try it.

Mine sits (except in public bathrooms). He's 46.

PP- how have you never shared a bathroom with your dh?? It's a multiple time, daily occurrence in our home !
