Right; police tend to arrest dealers vs. users. I see you tried to equate "users" with those arrested for drug "offenses"

They tend to arrest people who... are caught breaking laws. They don't go around just arresting people at random. Nor do they just look the other way when it's a white person breaking the law.

Since my husband is a police officer and I a former prosecutor, I can state with 100% certainty, you speak from pure ignorance.

I will ask again if you believe the routine practice (i.e. OVERWHELMING MAJORITY OF ARRESTS AND PROSECUTIONS) of police and prosecutors was to randomly arrest and prosecute blacks for no reason whatsoever, with no evidence whatsoever. And for them to end up in prison, that would also have to mean planted evidence, lies under oath, false witness, et cetera - and a grand conspiracy of all involved knowing and participating in it. And likewise, that a white person committing a crime in broad daylight in front of witnesses will not be arrested and that there is likewise a grand conspiracy to do this. Even here in DC, with its majority African American police force.

So far a bunch of you have said YES and even went further to say you are cops and prosecutors and that as cops and prosecutors you routinely participate in that grand conspiracy to arrest blacks for no reason and likewise routinely look the other way when whites commit crimes.

My girldfriend is a public defender in Orlando. She has often mentioned that when police pull over young white teenagers who have pot on them, they are given a warning. Sometimes the parents are called. However, when black teenagers are pulled over and there is a scent of pot swirling through the air, the police call in a dog for a probable cause search. That kid is arrested.

Anybody been following that case in Miami about the Black man arrested 42 times for trespassing. He has been arrested for trespassing at a convenience store. The kicker is he works at the store. I wonder if he can sue and win against Miami PD for false arrest and harassment.

I was wrong, he was arrested 62 times at his place of employment. All of these arrests created a very long rap sheet. So now, when he goes to apply for a job and the application asks, "have you ever been arrested", he has to say yes 62 times. He has only been convicted of one misdemeanor possession of marijuana. I think that is a drug that the vast majority of Americans have tried once. Some were lucky to get a warning. Others never caught.
