-the $35 "miracle blanket". I found a plain old flannel receiving blanket worked just as well for swaddling.
-the arm's reach co-sleeper. Great concept until realized that our son was an exceptionally loud sleeper. |

baby slings
video monitor - I know many love these, but after the novelty wore off, we never used it. Our house is small enough that we could peek in or hear the baby. Hannah Anderson clothing. ugh! cute at first, but tired of seeing them! Expensive stroller - total waste, a cheaper one would have done just fine Cloth diapers - I tired but it was a huge hassle Expensive bedding Expensive crib Separate changing table - a tabletop pad would have worked fine on the dresser |
| Private school - I am paying the price of a new car every year for something I can get for free! After 4 years i don't see any benefits. My n2 ephews in public school are doing a lot more and progressing much quicker - and one of them is a year younger than my son! |
What school? |
| Birthday cards for kids birthdays. My kids should have made them. At $3.00 a pop, and no child reads them. |

They do color? Which one!!! |
Oh yes absolutely. Our DS has allergies so we ended up buying a bagged Hoover for $80 that could suck the chrome off a bumper hitch. DH won't let me forget that one every time the commercial comes on. I gave it to my sister and she hates it too. Actually, any bagless vacuum. Bought one for the beach house and hated cleaning it. Got the same hoover with bags and voila - throw the bag out and it's clean. Also, $50 crockpot with timer. I don't know who I was kidding. |
| So funny - we loved our Bumbo, at least for a short period of time, and our kids love the crib aquariums. Our 2-year old still enjoys it. |
