Assault Allegations at Fairfax HS.

Also thev are too concerned about disproportionate disciplinary practices. The result is that people like this get away with sexual assault and worse on a daily basis.

Does anyone find the irony of the anti-ice school walk outs and these girls being harassed after reporting this perv?

Seems that public schools celebrate any actions that they consider “worthy” and covers up any actions that exposes their inability to protect students. I’m sure none of those who bullied are being disciplined.

Yeah. I have to wonder how many students at Fairfax HS participated in an anti-ice walk out and if some of those students are the same ones who are bullying the girls being assaulted by this pervert.

My kid is at FHS, there have been no walk outs there.

What right does the school system, police, or the courts have to keep a misdemeanor private? There was no sexual assault
Involved, apparently.

And, what is fcps or city of Fairfax retention policy on school videos?

If this has been an issue for some time there should lots of video available, no?

Well, the judge saw enough to keep the perp jailed.

If it is video of a hallway, there are privacy issues for the other people. And, honestly, I'm not sure I would want a picture of my DD being groped in such a way.

What right to you have to obtain a copy of the video?

+1 The first thing I thought when I read the comment was "Ew. Perv. Why do you need to see a video of teen girls getting sexually assaulted?"

Foia

This 100% comports with FCPS’ response to allegations of sexual misconduct and bullying. One doesn’t have to look far into the headlines of other schools, including Herndon HS (student killed after school did not respond to reports of harassment), Rachel Carson MS (FCPS countersues student with positive rape kit). Good leadership would eradicate these issues in our schools.

make sure your kids prepare for their SOLs.

Any response yet from FCPS? Not a priority?

They weren’t sexually assaulted.

I’m not a perv. I’m a taxpayer and parent and feel that I have the right to view video from a public location that uses public tax dollars to make an informed decision where or not to send my kids to school.

Get your mind out of the gutter.

You have zero right to this. Zero.

Foia

Foia has exceptions and those would apply here. If you think you would be ok with video of your dd being assaulted being publicly disseminated, you're high. And as a parent I would absolutely have an issue with this.

They didn't have an anti-ice walk out there but they should indeed have a walk out for being sexually assaulted and unprotected!!!
