Assault Allegations at Fairfax HS.

My child went there and I know some of the parents of the girls. And the girls. These are honest people and have been putting up with this sh--, from the kid and the school, all school year.

It absolutely was NOT butt-slapping (though, I am not sure what Principal Aye was thinking with her dismissive email b/c that is not ok, either). It was putting hands between the girls' legs and touching their privates.

Principal Aye and FCPS should be ashamed of themselves and she, frankly, should be fired. And don't get me started on Descano.

These girls are now being bullied in school and online. THIS IS WHY WOMEN DON'T REPORT this sort of thing. And when this kid is out, parents have been told he'll be allowed back in the school WTAF?

Amen, fire the principal is right. And if these girls are being bullied online, find out who is doing this and expel them too, put this on their college transcripts. The boys of Fairfax HS should be ashamed of themselves, stand up for the girls.

They did. Fairfax Sheriff won't cooperate.

No, they didn’t. They probably did an administrative warrant which is some random ICE staff member signing a piece of paper. If they followed due process and got a judicial detainer, the sheriff would honor it per their policy.

Immediately after his arrest last week, ICE issued a detainer for Ortiz in order to deport him, but ICE told Nick that the Fairfax County Sheriff is not honoring that detainer.

You have just pointed out the problem. All media should be reporting this. Why aren't they? You do not believe the moms who were interviewed? You think the principal's letter claiming "butt slapping" is not true?

Ohhhh I dunno, it’s on public taxpayer property and im a taxpayer funding all aspects of the school and safety? And, it should be available under foia or ferpa or whatever state or local policies are maybe? Or we just chalk this up getting court records that are available?

What right does the school system,police, or the courts have to keep a misdemeanor private? There was no sexual assault

Well, the judge saw enough to keep the perp jailed.

If it is video of a hallway, there are privacy issues for the other people. And, honestly, I'm not sure I would want a picture of my DD being groped in such a way.

Students and Parents need to report these acts to police not to school officials. Schools will do nothing or drastically downplay these incidents.

Every one of the girls should file for a restraining order against this adult student so he has he can NOT return to this school.

FCPS likely downplayed this because of the student’s immigration status. Maybe Reid can spend a couple million on a report and then not release it
