That’s not one of the objectives.

The objectives are (1) territorial expansion, (2) unchallenged regional hegemony, (3) sustained, substantial financial and military subsidy from a larger nation that can be manipulated at the highest levels to ensure prioritization and preservation of #1 and #2 above.

DP. You forgot Israel’s other objectives-destabilize every country in the region, create a civilian war and fund both sides of the conflict.

It’s my understanding many Israelis are unhappy as well. I feel sick over this situation war.

All this. I don’t understand how the Israelis are supporting all this. It’s not in their interests.

It's the original iron dome that jews have manufactured for themselves. Even though the vast majority of jews worldwide support Israel you can't call out jews for tacitly supporting 80 years of crimes against humanity.

The irony is that a higher proportion of the actually religious orthodox jews are probably against the state of Israel compared to any other subpopulation of jews. But that's not saying much because 1) 75% of jews in Israel support genocide; and 2) the majority of jews worldwide are not religious.

lol sure. Israel was given Iron dome by the US.

Understood, but I believe those are TACTICS utilized by the State of Israel in furtherance of #1 and #2.

Especially since the war started in October 2023, Israel's stocks roughly doubled in value, while the US market only went up about 18–20% in the same time frame.

Why did Israel's stocks do so great even with the war going on?
- Lots of money from foreign investors (people and big funds from outside Israel) poured in — billions of dollars m
- Defense companies (making weapons, tech for security like Iron Dome stuff) boomed hugely — some jumped thousands of percent.
- Banks, insurance companies, and energy/infrastructure stocks also shot up a lot.

lol sure kid. Israel’s stock market is a rounding error when compared to the US stock market. You have been posting a lot of nonsense. Israel stock market is whole dependent on the US stock market. It’s like everything in Israel.

It’s almost like there are 2 separate universes:

World one: Israel must defend itself or the Holocaust may occur again.

World two: Isreal kills and orphans kids (and makes thousands more homeless)

Remember the teeter tot at the playground? The more killing Israel does the less the sympathy lies with World one.

The IDF can not fight. They can only kill civilians when the US gives them weapons.

Smotrich urges Israel to annex southern Lebanon as assault intensifies

Israel’s far-right minister of finance, Bezalel Smotrich, has urged his country to annex southern Lebanon, as the military has destroyed bridges and homes in an intensified assault on the area.

In an Israeli radio interview on Monday, Smotrich said that the bombardment of Lebanon “needs to end with a different reality entirely”, which includes a “change of Israel’s borders”.

“I say here definitively … in every room and in every discussion, too: The new Israeli border must be the Litani,” he said, referring to the Litani River, a critical waterway that cuts through southern Lebanon, about 30km (19 miles) from the border with Israel.

Lebanon is smaller than Connecticut. It’s the same size as Los Angeles County. Settling in southern Lebanon means there’ll essentially taking all of Lebanon.

Many people in southern Lebanon report drones spraying some sort of chemical all around. It seems like some sort of pesticide to kill their agriculture or chemical warfare maybe
