| Is Israel even technically a state if its borders are not defined and keep expanding? |
Lebanese Christian here and I can tell you that is absolutely not true. |
| Israel has successful instilled British, “divide and rule,” strategies in Lebanon. It is an utter disaster. |
While clearly unsurprising it is also horrific that we are granting Israel’s ability to cause harm. In terms of which country poses an imminent threat to us, Iran or Israel? I’d point out that my retirement portfolio was looking good this AM and now that the Strait is closed again those gains are likely to reverse. |
| Israel already breaking the ceasfire Trump signed |
| Did you think otherwise? |
The ceasefire has nothing to do with Lebanon iran made that up and Iran wants to make more nuclear weapons so they are in for another pounding |
? the 10 point framework that Trump accepted clearly states the war would end on all fronts. Israel attacked Lebanon claiming Hezbollah are Iranian proxy. You can’t have it both ways. |
Israel bombed the f out of Christain residential neighborhoods in Beirut while Hezbollah in South Lebanon abided by the ceasefire. |

IDF conduct in Lebanon plunges Israel-Europe relations to lower depths
https://www.politico.eu/article/spanish-peacekeeper-detained-by-idf-in-lebanon/ Spain and Italy have demanded explanations from Israel after the country’s soldiers in Lebanon detained a Spanish United Nations peacekeeper and fired warning shots at an Italian convoy. The incidents mark another low point in Israel’s relations with Europe, already severely damaged by the war in Gaza and now further strained by the country’s ongoing military campaign in Lebanon. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto stated on Wednesday that Italy “demands full respect for the role of UNIFIL” after Italian U.N. peacekeepers were “the subject of warning shots fired by the IDF.” Later in the day, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani expressed Italy’s solidarity with Lebanon regarding “unjustified and unacceptable attacks it is suffering from Israel.” “We want to prevent a second Gaza,” he added. His concerns are shared by some at the European Commission, too. Commissioner Hadja Lahbib wrote on X: “Today’s brutal attacks by [Israel] on [Lebanon], which have left more than 100 dead – with the toll still rising – and over 700 wounded, are an outrage.” |

Lebanese men are hated on and called feminine or weak by the other Arabs but they are actually the toughest nation for Israel to beat per the horses mouth.
Egypt, Syria, Palestine, Jordan all lost territory to Israel easily but Lebanon continues to be Israel’s Achilles heel. I love the Lebanese accent in Arabic. Definitely the prettiest and softest one. I also liked their show till death. I saw it on Netflix and I really recommend it to everyone I know. Great storyline and acting. It sucks they aren’t known for their arts and fun like they are for war. Beirut in its prime was way better than Dubai and Tel Aviv for nightlife |

Doctors warn that Israel is targeting Lebanon’s health care system, as it did Gaza’s
https://apnews.com/article/lebanon-israel-hezbollah-gaza-palestinians-hospital-attacks-2324ed88a4d95513093d427167335c6e Two years ago, Dr. Mohammed Ziara watched Israel ravage Gaza’s health care system, shelling hospitals, striking ambulances and forcing patients to evacuate. Now Ziara — along with many other medical workers, human rights groups and civilians — warns that the same scenario is unfolding in Lebanon. Israel is pushing deep into the southern part of the country in its campaign against the Iran-backed group Hezbollah, a powerful militant force and political party that long has exercised de facto control over much of Lebanon’s Shiite community. To describe its strategy in this war, the Israeli military has invoked the devastation it wrought in Gaza after the Hamas-led Oct. 7, 2023, attacks. At one point last month, Israeli warplanes even dropped leaflets over Beirut warning that after “great success in Gaza, a new reality is coming to Lebanon, too.” Since the war between Israel and Hezbollah reignited on March 2, Israeli airstrikes have killed at least 57 health professionals as of Monday, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Israel has carried out more than 160 attacks against emergency medical workers and ambulances, and forced the closure of six hospitals and 49 health clinics through attacks or threats, the ministry reported. In the latest attack that killed two paramedics and seriously wounded a third early Monday, the ministry accused Israel of deliberately targeting a gathering of first responders on duty. |

Let's see. Holding talks in America, the country that has greenlit the carpetbombing, ethnic cleansing, and genocide of Lebanon. This is a sham and the US/Israelis are probably going to extort a land grab truce. What does Polymarket have to say that there's a jew leading the American mediation crew? That worked out so well for Iran twice, didn't it? Hopefully, the Lebanese know that Iran still has their backs and will negotiate from a position of strength. These talks should be happening in Turkiye.
Netanyahu greenlights Israel-Lebanon talks in Washington amid ceasefire tensions https://www.france24.com/en/middle-east/20260410-netanyahu-greenlights-israel-lebanon-talks-in-washington-amid-ceasefire-tensions Israel and Lebanon will hold talks in Washington next week, a State Department official said Thursday, amid mounting international concerns that Israel's bombing campaign could shatter an already fragile US-Iran ceasefire. Israel's heaviest strikes on Lebanon since Hezbollah entered the Middle East war in early March killed hundreds on Wednesday, rattling the uneasy truce between Washington and Tehran less than 48 hours after it came into force. "We can confirm that the Department will host a meeting next week to discuss ongoing ceasefire negotiations with Israel and Lebanon," the US official said. The announcement came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered his ministers to seek direct talks with Lebanon focused on disarming Iran-backed Hezbollah. But a Lebanese government official told AFP that Beirut required a truce before entering any negotiations with Israel. |
