What exactly is this niche? |
Is there a cite for any of this? |
Kind of wish they had announced this before the ED deadline. |
I mean no there aren't going to be sources just sitting around, you have to know someone there. But I was able to find an article on the Greek life thing. https://www.wm.edu/offices/studentaffairs/news/record-growth-strengthens-panhellenic-community-at-william-mary.php You can prob find clips of the thousands of students at football and basketball games online |
Data > anecdotes |
| It would be good to teach some life skills like High Point. Greek Life accomplishes this. Good for W&M! |
Don't think anyone disagrees with that but students at a school are definitely able to sense vibe shifts. |
Campus life is quite different at both schools. |
They took too long to comply! |
I doubt it. All three of these schools still have lots going for them. What’s good for the state of Virginia is good for all of them. |
This. It’s a bigger pie for all of Virginia now. |
|
I think that program been there a while - or similar
I remember a guy from hs got in-state tuition at W&M through an obscure major not offered at UMD. (common economy thingy) |
+1. Virginia has great schools and it’s wonderful to add this latest piece. |
Yes, the previous preference was W&M campus life, but wants to do an Engineering major, with this program W&M is the best of both worlds. |
| Let me see the engineering course offerings. There’s no way submarines are being designed by “engineering science” majors. |
