Since this woman’s death, approximately 900 Americans have been murdered. Is the “MSM” supposed to make all of these national stories? Or just the white lady victims? |
DP. When you say "these cases," what exactly do you mean? All cases begin as local cases and only achieve national status if there's something unusual or newsworthy about them. Also, the decision of whether or not to institutionalize someone usually depends on state law. You're focused on the last judge he encountered but apparently he was released at least 12-14 times by judges over his criminal history, often without bail or with low/no conditions, due to North Carolina's reformed bail policies emphasizing pretrial release for non-violent or low-level offenses, judicial discretion, and a push to reduce jail overcrowding. These decisions prioritized rehabilitation and rights over detention, even for repeat offenders with mental health flags According to my research, North Carolina law restricts judges' rulings on pretrial release and mental health commitments. G.S. 15A-534 mandates release conditions unless specific risks (e.g., serious felonies, danger) justify detention, with judicial discretion guided by evidence and local bail policies. G.S. 122C limits involuntary commitment to cases with clear evidence of mental illness and imminent danger, requiring court hearings." Compare NC and SC laws. NC is a red state (went for Trump three times). Its legislature is controlled by Republicans (the GOP holds a 30-20 majority in the Senate and a 71-49 majority in the House as of the 2025-2026 session.) Why don't you contact the NC state legislature and advocate for changes to existing laws that will make it easier to institutionalize seriously mentally ill individuals with a history of criminal activity? That's what needs to change to prevent similar incidences. |
right and the Epstein gang still runs wild and free. Talk about trying to bury crime stories. |
How many of the 900 were 100% unprovoked and captured on high-def security camera on mass transit? I assume zero. |
I’m sure some country boys down NC could handle this for less money than the government |

You sound like you wish this case were buried. |
Imagine for a moment if a criminal white man had brutally murdered an innocent black girl minding her own business on public transit and said, “I got that black girl. I got that black girl” over and over, and it was all captured on CCTV. It would be played on every media outlet nonstop for months and months, and the ensuing trial would receive wall-to-wall coverage. The public outrage would spark protests across the country and the world. Think back to the coverage the Derek Chauvin case received, where a police officer used unjust force to arrest and ultimately kill a black male who had just committed a crime and was on fentanyl. Magnify that by 100. Criminals and the mentally ill should not be free to roam the streets and hurt innocent people. It’s reprehensible and sick and must end now. |
I don't know what your beef is. People are pretty worked up over this, and it's only been a couple days. It's like you feel like you're getting ripped off because there isn't enough outrage over "your" folk getting murdered. |
All the ones that are horrifically brutal and unexpected by a person unknown to the victim, with the perpetrator known to have a serious mental health and crime history but released by a judge who didn't care what might happen. |

You're aware he has a lengthy rap sheet of violent crimes?? Why do Democrats constantly defend violent criminals? |
That's not a narrative. It's a fact. |
January 6 says "hold my beer" |
OMG. I can't even. His own mother knew he was a danger - to her, as well! - yet you expect her to keep him at home? What is the matter with you?? |
