Where is my necklace?

Sock drawer
Eye-level pocket of something hanging in your closet
Behind your night table
Some sort of charger or key tray
In the bra drawer
In a product box for some other small accessory you recently bought
Fell into a boot in your closet

Trying to figure out a funny way to string these together in a sequence (fell into shoe, which was worn out of closet, got stuck to the sock, which was thrown in the hamper, etc) where the necklace eventually ends up wrapped around your wrist etc. good luck finding it!

This happened to me once. I searched EVERYWHERE (I was out doing grid patterns in my front lawn with a flashlight...the necklace had been my dad's and I was that hysterical about losing it).

I found it in my washing machine. Part of the chain was even underneath the drum and DH had to take it apart. Turns out it had gotten caught in my shirt when I changed clothes and ended up in the wash.

I lost my phone once in a similar way. Put it somewhere I could never lose it. Turns out it got knocked behind something as I was getting ready.

I don’t know but it will come back to you. I lost my wedding rings and diamond earrings for like 4 months several years ago, but they turned up.

Did you hang it on something like a doorknob?

Shake the clothes on the lowest rack in your closet in case it fell and is draped over something. Also sweep the bottom of your closet, underneath/behind boxes, clothes, everything. Do you have any drawers in your closet? (Yes, I am mentally walking through my closet as if all closets are the same 🤣)

Oh, and check your shoes! Putting it in a shoe and forgetting is something I would do.

Wow that thread is insane. What is your “theory” for how that happened?? Sleepwalking?? Gaslighting??
