Signed,
A college professor.

No you aren’t. Go away. You trolls are really pathetic and transparent.

You are wrong but you do not know how to accept facts that challenge your worldview.

He is young. Continue to try to teach him.

Does he understand that he knows women that have had abortions? He may not know that he knows them, but he most certainly knows them. Is he really okay with them being as good as common murderers the minute they step over certain state borders?

Does he understand that he knows women that have been raped whether he personally knows this detail or not? Is he really okay with having a rapist in power over them?

If he's never been conned himself, he certainly knows people that have been conned. Is he okay with having a con artist sit in the highest office in the country?

Keep trying.

Honestly, he may know some men that have been raped as well, although that is not as common.

This might be exactly why he doesn't want to vote Democrat

no advice, op but, I would be very disappointed. I would ask him to not discuss politics when around you and unfortunately I wouldn't want to be around him much.. Considering he has zero sympathy for women in this country and how are rights have been eroded

Oh look. A single, childless cat lady has joined the conversation.

No one is born understanding how to avoid a con artist. You may need to be taught or have a bad experience yourself before you get it.

Trump has long ugly history of being involved in cons. Try to teach your son to avoid this without having to learn the hard way.

Absolute trolling by a Trumosr who is highlighting how ridiculous the left wing has begun. Or the kid is having sex on the regular and can’t be bothered to text his parents. They are are presuming the worse and creating elaborate scenarios in their minds

PP again. I don't believe you for a second. No mother would make a statement about wanting to spend less time with her son who is away at college, just because of how he voted in the election.

Yes? And we are talking about women getting raped and impregnanted by their rapists. Which leads to abortion and the question of access

Moms are on guard against maga... Even if it's their own maga. Mega is a bad influence on our sons and a bad influence on our daughters.

Instead of being distressed that he sees things differently, rejoice that he is becoming an independent thinker instead of an extension or appendage to you. Presumably he has been and is continuing to learn and apply critical thinking skills. He may even turn out to be open-minded and tolerant, understanding that people of good will can disagree while remaioning civil and maybe even cooperative on points of agreement, while remaining a moral person guided by his own ethical guidelines.

As a young man, his worldview is likely still evolving, as it should as he gains experience in the world and is exposed to different perspectives.

It doesn't sound it if he is 'happy' about Trump and obviously knows his mom is against him! Gloating does not make you a open-minded or tolerant
